It seems that with some of the more difficult questions, the quantifier are subtly changed without erasing the possibility of whatever answer choice with such a change being the correct answer.

I get the reasoning in this question, for sure, and in fact, I only selected another answer because of the quantifier "most" in the credited response. "Many"…
I am, but it seems that some questions bypass this in favor of using just the argument structure as the determinant to the credited response, and it's really throwing me off.
I'm a huge tea drinker (like, really huge) and have been studying, rating/reviewing, and purchasing select, "face to farmer" teas for years. I only mention this in an attempt to add credibility to my suggestion... matcha tea. In case you are unfamil…
@visualcreed I believe the logic would be the same, but I'm going to attempt to find a question that does this so as to be sure. But @7sagelsatstudent180, @visualcreed is dead on when mentioning the opposites or negatives of the original reasoning. …
Also @visualcreed, you're focusing on the logic of the argument, not the argument itself. Maybe I'm having a mind blip, but these question types can most definitely utilize contrapostives in the correct answer choice.
The setup is by far the most important part, even if it takes 5:00 minutes. But I think you'll eventually get to a point where the "super hard games," while objectively difficult, won't seem do undoable.
I purchased the LSATMax watch, which requires you to use a dial. It'll serve it's purpose, I suppose, but it'll take some planning to make sure you're not wasting time resetting the watch. More importantly, I'm so jealous I didn't think to use Phoen…
Seriously all, this is beyond incredible input. I think the issue of redundancy is a big one for me, and as such, I'll probably end up incorporating my job experience in my PS. I also think I'd be pushing too many boundaries with a DS as discussed. …
To me, the uniqueness of my job is something that can and probably will change my perspectives in law school. Does that make sense? If I were, say, a deep-sea explorer, the uniqueness of my job would be irrelevant to law. But facets of my job are di…
Hmm. I appreciate that. I did originally have it iny PS. My job has definitely changed and added to my perspectives, but I'm still not sure if it applies to the DS. Your comments help. Thanks!
I believe it's the latter. To provide some specifics, I work as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. To be short (since I'm typing on my phone), I work in the homes of many impoverished families who are constantly battling with issues th…
PowerScore books are fine for beginners, if you want to begin to grasp strategies for attacking the LSAT, but they're basic, and even in some instances, arguably insufficient for obtaining a top-notch score. The books focus on memorization, boxy and…
@nicole.hopkins I had this on PT 62, I believe, and I had just come off of constant, timed drilling from the most difficult passages and logic games. I did achieve my best overall score (173), though I still missed 4 or 5 on the RC section. Still, I…
You'll start to intuitively recognize patterns. Obviously, that doesn't provide much of a concrete answer, but the more you study, the more you'll automatically decide to do so or to not. But as far as more tangible advice, definitely split game boa…
How many questions per section, on average; how long have you been studying, and are you automatically skipping certain types of questions (any of the parallels, for example) or skipping because, after reading the stimulus and answer choices, you ar…
I am not a mechanical thinker and am instead more intuitive, so this may be of no help for you if you're looking for a more structured and systematic method. I simply did almost nothing but RC for a week straight to really get into the flow of it (I…
I think each person is different. I, for one, am nothing like you insofar as a tendency to become distracted (which I do not mean in a negative way), but for me, thinking of where I would and could be long-term is a big motivator. This test effectiv…
Personally, I do not believe four months is anywhere near enough of a time frame for a superior score, especially without a 40+ per-week studying schedule.
Wait, you're scoring in the mid-160s with -7 in LG? You DEFINITELY should retake the test, assuming you have the time for it! Sure, you may be disappointed with your retake score, but I can't imagine it would be any easier moving on with a score you…
That is a perfectly reasonable goal. Did you take the test timed? I took my first test timed, but that isn't necessarily reflective of how well you understand the language of logic. You definitely need to set your expectations high so as to avoid un…
