If you do a lot better after being accepted, you can try negotiating for your first year. Unless you did a binding early decision, you have the card of withdrawing if you don't get more $ so schools typically offer up some money.
IMO, you don't need a dedicated RC guide (Powerscore Bible nor Manhattan RC). It's such a hard section to "learn". I'd say the RC in the Trainer is sufficient enough to get a good strategy going. I'd highly recommend getting the Cambridge Packets fo…
@garvelo89 you can probably take 3 weeks off. We're supposed to get our scores back around March 1/2 so that still leaves plenty of time for you to get back into the groove of things.
Take a diagnostic test and see where you stand. If you get like below a 151 or so, then I'd def recommend starting right now. It doesn't have to be intense prep in the beginning. Just a few hours a week will suffice. If you diag at like a 155+, you …
Relavent to LR:
Do you tend to miss the Q's on the same question type (i.e Flaws, Necessary Assumptions, etc)? If you're only missing like -2 to -4 wrong per section, then you might just need to work on your timing as you have the basics down.
@emli1000 I have the middle one (forgot the name). I already had the Cambridge Packets prior to joining 7Sage so unfortunately cannot give an accurate answer to your question. But for me, convenience is a must so I'd rather have ALL the question typ…
I guess it's all preference but for what it's worth, I took an entire 5 weeks off from any sort of PT'ing and even full section drilling to work on the 7Sage Curriculum and drilling Cambridge Packets. When I started up section drilling and then PT'i…
For me it really just depends on the subject matter. Typically I do much better on the hard science any sort of history/economics type of passages but absolutely suck at the humanity ones.
Actually I've heard the opposite in terms of tackling the most/least Q's passages first. Seen a lot of people suggest tackling the longer 8 Q passages first because you'll have the most energy. Say you only have 5-6 minutes left and you have one fin…
@faaaa991 Probably over a span of 2ish months? Spent an entire solely going over the 7Sage Curriculum while drilling the Cambridge Packets and another month to drill by sections and eventually full PT's.
What are your current PT's scores like? With about 5 months left, I'm not sure whether it's great use of material to start PT'ing 2-3 times weekly now. I'd just focus on finishing up the curriculum and drilling. If you really want you could PT once …
With everything said, I would be careful on the newer tests, especially of the PT 70+. The difficulty of the questions have been spread out so now it's very possible to see one of the toughest questions of the section early on say #12 or something.
@royaimani
It depends. If he had any run-ins with the laws aka got in trouble, he would've had to disclose everything to the law school anyways. You don't want to lie and leave anything out. It'll come back and get you when you're going through the …
Nope^
Any college class that was taken before your bachelor is awarded counts towards the LSAC gpa. That includes any community college classes you took in high school to "get ahead".
Now, if you already have your bachelors degree, you wouldn't be…
Taking it for the first time next weekend but pretty glad I saw this thread beforehand. I don't mind distractions on LG and LR but need absolute quiet with RC. I didn't realize that everyone's section ordering would be different.
Will be drilling …
I'm not totally sure what you mean but there's typically 3 main types of logic games. They are: ordering, grouping, and hybrid mix of both. Every so often, there will be a game where it doesn't really fit into any and you sorta just wing it.
Did you do a lot better at NCSU? Your official LSAC gpa should be the 3.0 cumulative. Don't write off the T14's just yet as you could possibly get into some with a 170+ lsat.
I won't comment on the GPA addenda since I'm in no position to give a le…
IMO, with the ultimate package, you still won't be able to access all the older questions compared to the Cambridge.
and @shine.on.me It's recommend that you do both Cambridge drilling and PT'ing. The conventional timeline is that you drill Cambri…
I could see it being beneficial in RC as you can highlight differing opinions/Author Viewpoint/etc/etc....only if you were taking it untimed. I would imagine it takes a couple sections to switch from highlighter to highlighter just to note the diffe…
