My journey since July has been a long hard process. Some people progress over time whereas some start off in the 160's. After 4 long months, I've gone from a high 130's to PT'ing in the 160-163 range as of 3 weeks ago. Don't give up and you can do i…
It sort of depends on your mental endurance. Are you studying full-time or do you have a full-time job? The typical response is 2-3 PT's a week with BR.
Hey, you might find this site useful:
http://www.cambridgelsat.com/resources/data/consolidated-score-conversion-charts/
I think whatever source you were using to find your score is a bit off. A raw score of 68 would have scored you a 157 on PT 69 …
IMO, if you are aiming for June at the earliest, then PT'ing 2 or 3 times a week from mid-Jan might burn you out. I suggest really taking your time with all of the Lessons and drill LR and LG using the Cambridge Packets previously mentioned.
I second Cambridge. Their Packets are from PT 1-38 so keep that in mind. IMO, from PT 35-74, I would definitely save a couple of the late 30's and 40's and use them for full timed sections. Although full timed PT'ing are important, I think drilling …
Like others have said on here, I would personally take the cancel and a 160. I'd be a bit nervous if schools could potentially see a 18 points (or higher) differential between LSAT scores and could become a potential red flag. I was prepping for the…
I feel you. RC is my weakness and hate it whenever I have one for the experimental in addition to the real. My suggestion, if you decide to retake, is to use RC as your experimentals while you PT. This will help build up your endurance.
Given the decrease in applications I wouldn't necessarily you're put at a huge disadvantage in terms of admission with a Feb score, but you will most likely lose out on scholarship money. Unless your family are multi-millionaires, it's sooooooo wort…
It's natural to score lower on your first PT after your diag. I just took one of those standard live prep courses and the majority of people scored lower on the second PT than the first diagnostic. It can be still due to you getting used to the stra…
You're allowed to mention the content of a question/passage/game, but not the actual game type, question type, specific RC questions.
I didn't take it today but I've been lurking around all day so I pretty much know the real sections, lol.
You don't miss out on any Lessons. Like jdawg said, they're just extra drill sets/explanations.
A difference between the packages however are the number of full PT's provided with video explanations.
@catherinem88 Do you mean you are starting the 7Sage course tomorrow? Here's my experience: I used the Trainer and Manhattan LR->Blueprint course->now 7Sage. Aside from just categorizing/grouping question types differently, I thought there wer…
I would recommend 7sage all the way. It'll probably be cheaper than to extend the BP account. I don't get much out of the BP video explanations for some reason.
Def take Friday off to relax. Although I feel like I am wasting a day by NOT studying, I find that I come back and perform better than usual so keep that in mind!
Fighting everyone! GL!
It's okay to feel like this. I'm finishing up a course this week right before the Dec test and had to postpone because I wasn't feeling ready. The previous two posters have some good advice for ya.
Take a step back and ask yourself "why law school in fall 2015?" Why do you HAVE start law school in 2015? Seeing that you're still in undergrad, I can understand the urge to transition into law school right after. I recently graduated back in June …
I just went over those lessons today. Knowing the valid and invalid argument forms come in handy whenever anything needs to be diagrammed. It certainly can be useful for Parallel and Parallel Flaw as they tend to be more time-consuming than others, …
@Kimber77
So since June 2007, the format has been the same....but people say LG got a bit "easier" in the 60's and now recently getting tricky in the 70's. People say LR has stayed relatively the same, except for much trickier answer choices. Most …
Were your previous high scores on older PT's? I noticed for me that I do much worse on the recent RC's. But I wouldn't worry too much. I feel another side to the LSAT is simply your mental confidence. On your next PT, just remind yourself that you a…
Probably the main difference between "new" and "old" is the addition of comparative passages in RC. The free June 2007 is the beginning of such change. So anything PT's starting with Pt 52 (in addition to June 2007) has the comparative reading.
