Haha. Looking forward to this function. But I will say "cookie cutter " is somehow subjective. You will see the patter of wrong AC or right AC when you do enough PTs or sections.

Study at home is fine. Just don't study at Starbucks. Use 7sage proctor as well. Give 10 minutes' break after 3 sections.

Use Manhattan RC guide. It helps me a lot, especially identifying the scale and question type.

I will go for Columbia. The social network and alumni will play a great role when you graduate. You just can't reject the NYC. Vanderbilt is less attractive regarding the location and job market. Go for the big one!!!
