I don't know the official reason. I imagine it has to do with keeping enough material "in the bank" so they don't run out for emergency situations but that is pure speculation on my part.
@montaha.rizeq If you let me stick around here I'll sneak you and @"Alex Divine" back into the Old Timers thread. I'm fairly certain the rest of the old fogeys in there are too senile to notice.
Oh...hi @"Cant Get Right" and @stepharizona Uhhhh...w…
I do not do any warm-up because I do not want extra information floating around in my head. I don't want 25 LR questions that were from my warm-up popping around in the synapses during my real LR. But, if you like finding your groove first, do the w…
I think the newer ones can be less balanced (you may get a lot more LR questions of a specific type in one exam, whereas before you could more or less count on the same type of question mix from PT to PT). I think the newer ones are using different …
I'm not trying to cause trouble here but my BR strategy is to not get too bogged down because it starts to affect my motivation/happiness levels. I would say my BR takes 30-60 minutes per section but it is definitely less rigorous than it "should" b…
Great move. The only potential downside is that it is a non disclosed test so you don't get to see the specifics of how your test went, you only get a score. In that respect only the June test may be preferable. But as long as you are hitting your t…
Don't get down about weaknesses. Just use them as an opportunity to learn. Many of us have struggled with specific types of questions (including weakening). Ultimately you have to fight through and keep to it. Don't give up!
With a reasonable story and a killer LSAT score there will be schools that give you a shot. Apply yourself well to the LSAT prep and nail it come June (or Oct. or Dec.). You can do it!

But for me, a full ride from a good ranking school always has precedence lol.
What would you consider a good ranking school? That always varies from person to person. What are you hoping for?

the definition of easier is very vague, as all of us have different weaknesses and strengths
Second this. My personal ratings of things are sometimes similar to the 7sage rating and sometimes vastly different. Everything is easy wh…
I think that you just need to keep hammering games and identifying specific weaknesses. When I started out I struggled mightily with In-Out games and it would cost me points on other games because of timing. So work on your overall timing strategies…
There are some shifts over time. If you take the recent PTs and learn from their style you will be fine. I don't think any of them are objectively harder or easier, but you do have to adjust to the different styles.

Since it was the same award, I would just include it as second time.
Are you saying you would only include the second time, or that you would include that I was awarded it a second time?
@"Cant Get Right" I feel Stanford does the same. I'm fairly certain I read that on their website.
Do any old folks have some advice on a random résumé question (thanks @David.Busis for encouraging us to have that word correctly written)? I am 11 ye…
Obviously it all depends on the factors you find most important. What is your target score versus your PT average? How far through the CC are you? Things of that nature.
I will say over and over that the best advice is to not let dates and deadline…
Not sure that is true for me (but also not sure it isn't). They are definitely top 5 but there are several others that are in the running. This may have to do with the information they get from LSAC such as where you live, GPA, what schools you have…
The key is to keep motivation high and take care of yourself. Breaks here and there are appropriate as long as they are not the rule rather than the exception. Eat well. Sleep well. Exercise well. Make social connections. Do some selfless service fo…
I emailed them some articles (including recommendations from the admissions starter course) on what a good LOR has in it. I didn't give them anything else. But much like @"Alex Divine" I know my recommenders very well.
