All of this totally depends on what school you want to get into. You can get full rides to lower ranked schools with scores in the 160s. If you are more set on going to a great school, then be willing to do whatever it takes (whether job, no job, in…
There are so many ways you will improve in your LSAT taking. Watch the webinar on skipping, keep working on your timing, work on the CC, over time look at your weaknesses. PUT IN THE WORK. There is no substitute or shortcut. You can do this (but not…
Well said @"Cant Get Right", well said. Nobody is saying that anyone can get it with a little prep, some people might have to work way harder than others. But I agree that with perseverance, dedication, and quality studying it is achievable for you …
Brain is part of the body in the general sense but after the body (which could include the brain) is done processing, there are now extra calories available so even more can go to the brain specifically "from less food" (or from the same amount) to …
Thanks @"J.Y. Ping" . It's always funny to look at PT 79 from the big picture intellectually but then battle the emotional reality of it being "The Actual LSAT" (because when I bomb a PT I just learn from it then hit the next one, but the potential …
I have never done a retake ever. It is funny how no matter how long you have been studying and preparing there are always new things you learn. I have used this strategy on LG sections but never thought about doing it on a whole PT. @danielznelson y…
I see what you mean. Sorry, I did not pick up on what you were distinguishing between before. The brain gets more of the calories because the body is using less of them to process the food. Thus there are more available for the brain to get.
Put yourself in Phelps Face mode and just staying in the zone while eating, drinking, and moving around to get the blood flowing. Test taking is such an individual thing. Stay in that zone if it works best for you.
A classic example of "flexibility" in english. In most contexts getting and using are different things but in the context of the body/brain getting more calories and using more calories they are the same.
Just get yourself right physically and mentally. You have the skills, now you need to rest, do some fun things, eat healthy, get some exercise, etc. All of this will sharpen you and you will be ready to roll! You can do this @blah170blah !
Identify what types of questions you tend to get wrong and just get more familiar with the flavor of those for the 70s PTs. That helped me a lot because I started missing some specific types in LR and once I honed in on it I am doing better. Also, I…
Don't forget your analog watch. Additionally, there have been discussions of using somewhat dull pencils for filling in answer sheets more easily but at least one should probably be fairly sharp in case you need the precision during the essay (which…
I'm with all of the above advice but I do understand the psychological aspect of striving for that CC completion. I was disappointed when I finished all the main CC and to progress bar said 99% and not 100% because of the Substitution and Equivalenc…
I agree with @"quinnxzhang" on this one. You are missing the "might" aspect of the statement. It is an odd way of having a not both statement because you can have one, the other, or neither. Thus the correct translation would be V-->/S because yo…
I would do a little review and I would recommend a mix. I would definitely do the ones you missed but sometimes I get some correct that I wasn't totally sure on. These should be reviewed as well.
Thank you so much @"LSATKingsman" for the advice. I used one of them yesterday as my experimental and I will be using the other one on Sunday. Your advice was just what I needed to be reminded of.
For me on both sections it just took repetition, repetition, repetition and then some specific work on weak points. Revisit lessons, re-do games and questions that you missed, rinse, repeat. Your progress probably won't be perfectly linear but you w…
Forget books and get 7sage. Start with the free trial to make sure it works for you but I cannot say enough good things about the core curriculum and video explanations (in addition to all the other amazing things about 7sage). I bought the powersco…
How many hours a week can you spend between now and December? If you can do LSAT full time I think you have a shot. If you are busy and still only have 10-12 hours per week I would strongly consider waiting and applying for fall 2018. That would be …
Thanks for the good laugh. I don't think I have more anxiety than with LG (unless it is timed...) but I agree with the sentiment. I will have to think way too hard about writing in cursive just to copy down a standard sentence.
It may be a number of things. It could be a random statistical distribution. I don't know how many tests you are talking about but I have gone down over several tests before and I didn't pin it to any one thing. I just used to feedback of missed que…
I agree with @"Cant Get Right" that this close to time you are not going to be able to change a lot. If you have a longer period to improve I would say work on the Skipping Strategy more and then repetition overall combined with even more repetition…
