I just did a 9 minute meditation before taking PT 81 and scored my highest ever! As an LSAT student, I'm not saying that the meditation caused the score, but I'm saying I definitely felt very calm and focused while I was taking the exam. As a highly…
I emailed LSAC and they confirmed they are allowed on the exam... I assume that extends to the writing sample given that its part of the exam?
I would recommend printing out the guidelines that state they are allowed and keep it in a desk or someth…
I will be sitting at my dads home office desk, he has a TV on the desk pushed up against the wall lol, which he uses as basically a big screen for his work. Should I plan to try and move it or would putting a sheet over it suffice?
Don't let it get to you! Everyone has those days, count it as a once off and review it thoroughly. You want to be making mistakes before test day, that's how you learn and can be best prepared for the exam, more mistakes = more opportunities to lear…
@"Law and Yoda" Thanks so much for the advice! I'm still trying to find a skipping strategy that works, as I find that the minute I don't 'resonate' with a stimulus, it impacts my confidence, panic starts to set in and I'm not able to think as criti…
Move on come back later, don't get stuck in a time trap. Your brain continues to process information even as you're working on new problems and will likely solve it by the time you get back.
Email is emmorens@gmail.com I have the same goal and am really good at holding myself accountable to study so I think we could work well together. Also taking the test in Jan.
I was you! I highly recommend taking a step back, at least a few days off. For me, I began getting in my head more than anything and that's what tanked my score. I took a step back and stopped PTing for a while, went back to basics and drilled quest…
@sky.r.long845 thanks so much! I'm sure it will be (fingers crossed) I can't see in person LSATS happening until the spring at the earliest, seeing as they would have to book the centre's for hundreds of students and try to follow safety protocols d…
Definitely don't cancel! I was always told cancelling is for extreme or unusual circumstances, ie: you weren't feeling well and know for a fact you didn't answer questions or didn't finish a section you usually do.
There is more to be gained from s…
How many times did you write the LSAT? In my opinion if you've written it less than 3 times and only have one bad score but study take it again and achieve a wildly different score I don't think it's worth justifying. Lots of people vary in scores b…
I spoke with the associate dean at Western and she told me to feel confident reusing any of mine, I just asked my profs to change the date.
I think you should be fine so long as you are happy with what they wrote.
While studying at home I have my laptop propped up onto a laptop stand (pretty typical, ordered off amazon so I don't strain my neck) as well as a bluetooth mouse. Does anyone know if these items are allowed during the flex?
