  • I do my games differently than 7sage/JY, too, it should be noted. I was -.5 average for my last 10 LG sections before my test. Of course erasing is a selective strategy. I tend to find it useful often. Most games can be exhausted in some meaningfu…
  • I have to go to a family wedding. Lame. lol
  • I will probably be there. I'll do the homework if I do come, though. lol
  • I also tend to scan questions and use whatever part of my board that I filled in to eliminate answer choices before I erase it. I mark filled-in variables with a dot to differentiate them from permanent fixtures/parts of the game board that I've ex…
  • When I'm able to exhaust large portions of game boards, I have to erase or I can lose track of how to progress through answer choices. I check almost every single answer choice on the LGs I do. Other than that I don't erase much. I've never found i…
  • I erase/erased often. It depends on the diagram, imo.
  • I've received four emails from schools already, and every one of them has volunteered an application fee waiver. I think a lot of whether or not they're willing to waive the fee has to do with your competitiveness as an applicant.

  • @uhinberg said: Obviously, delaying is not always an option due to the realities of life, but often, the question posed is: "Help, I need a 170+, and I'm 2 months away from the LSAT, and I'm scoring in the mid 150's." Well, a dose of reality i…
  • You don't need to go to a T14 school to have an amazing career, but T14 schools unquestionably give you the best chance to have an amazing career. There are exceptions to every rule, of course, but the advice @"Alex Divine" constantly gives is sound…
  • @TheDeterminedC said: Thank you all for the comments!!! I have been stressing because I know that if I take the LSAT in December, then I will have less of a chance of admission at HSY. Would this be the case? I am a soon to be senior with…
  • @imharris said: @dennisgerrard yes! tutors are great! i fully endorse this! @goingfor99th retaking is a tough choice. ultimately for me it was a question of resources. the cost of studying for the next two months isn't greater than the …
  • Which passage is it? I don't have access to 7sage materials. I skip passages on RC. Generally I leave the comparative for last, and I tend to skip passages that have a ton of text on its two pages. I didn't practice RC enough during my preparation,…
  • Four days may not have been enough. If you still feel like you're in panic mode while not studying the LSAT, that itself may be a sign of burnout. It certainly was for me.
  • @"vanessa fisher" said: @goingfor99th It's funny cause I feel the opposite with science passages I feel like with the other passages I can focus a lot more on broad strokes and structure of arguments (my undergrad major was religion, lite…
  • I tend to focus a lot less on the specific details of a passage when faced with science passages, and instead focus on the ideas/arguments presented. I think for this reason, science passages are almost always my strongest passage type. The other ty…

  • 8 hours per day towards LSAT is not a reasonable approach, either. You will likely burnout quickly at that pace, and I very much doubt your brain will benefit from marathon-style practice sessions at this point in your preparation. Intensive LSAT pr…
  • @imharris said: this is all very useful... thanks for the suggestions! i'm gathering that the two main steps are: 1. recording and analyzing yourself for time management insights. 2. write out explanations during br. i'd also l…

  • @maithilibag said: Thank you for this post, @"Shireen Bhatia-1" I'm just like you, I like being good at whatever I do. The LSAT is one of the few challenges I've encountered that I cannot seem to overcome. I was so frustrated last week, I…

  • I regularly studied with a friend from early September till his test this past February. The way we made the most of our sessions is by my basically acting as his tutor. Explaining the test to him, helping him when he struggled, and speaking general…

  • You can get to 170 from mid-160s in two months. Also, to answer your question, yes I think it is better to spend time on later tests, especially because of how LR has seemed to change over time. LG is a bit different, as well. Good luck in your p…
