I had the same sort of thought when I started fool proofing. I think that repeating games over and over again really helps to engrain the pattern of inferences that you can expect given a game scenario. For example, it will soon become second nature…

Thank you everyone for all of the advice! As of right now, I'm going to work on getting through the Core Curriculum in an expedited manner and then move on to PT and either Manhattan or the Trainer depending on what seems more helpful.
