@"Alex Divine" You are totally right. I'm just scared that in my case if my score is already pretty low, and if test anxiety gets to me again in February (which would be my third try) and I bomb it, I'm pretty much fucked.
So I think instead I may …
Thank you all for your input!!! @bbutler @danielznelson @"Dark Knight V"
You are all so right. I think I am just so down from the initial disappointment that I am just over this stupid test. Also the fear of taking my last try in February, bombing…
@bbutler thank you for your thoughtful input! Means a lot! It really is tough going through this experience, studying so hard just to fall back down. You're right. I'm going to take a couple of days off, contemplate my fate and go from there.
I hone…
@danielznelson Thank you so much for your reply!
Getting scholarship money from schools is definitely my #1 worry. I do not want to drown in debt, and it's been a major contributing factor to my anxiety.
I'm honestly not sure if taking the risk in…
@bruingirl1205 that sucks, I'm really sorry to hear that It's not a good feeling. Same here. I was VERY confident in the first three sections (got a little stumped on RC... but its one of my weakest sections, so no surprise in that one) but man tha…
@"J. Tharp" I did the same!!! Treated myself to a bottle of wine and went online shopping lol.
Also bought the new Final Fantasy game for XBox One, for all you nerds out there. It's amazing and therapeutic.
@mcmlaw36 I feel you. I'm debating whether or not I should sign up for February... this was my second take, and my first one was awful, so if this one is awful again I'm not really sure what to do. I feel like two months won't be enough time for me …
@kingfisher23 honestly I think people don't talk about/like to talk about their scores because it's really personal and because of other people being really easy to judge someone based on their score.
At least for me personally that's been the reaso…
@mcmlaw36 yup we're totally in the same boat. I am hoping for a VERY gracious curve... although I don't know if a gracious curve can make up for this fuck up. And I felt the exact same way. My anxiety was off the charts after LG and I thought I was…
@BreeBree it's so frustrating... I can't believe they threw two super hard games into that section. They were seriously ridiculous. It's been a while since I've been so stumped by a game....
Oh man this LSAT..... I want to crawl in my bed and cry my eyes out..... LG has always been my strongest section and I totally fucking bombed it. Had no clue how to do the watercolor/oil paint one, skipped it and moved on to Game 4 and knew even les…
Totally happened to me too! I stopped scoring PT's a week ago because of it. Just doing light drills up until the test and taking care of myself mentally to stay positive and try to reduce all of the anxiety and stress.
Good luck to you too!
Been trying to keep a "zen" mindset all week long and have been taking it easy on the drills. Drinking lots of calming tea, and cuddling with my cat.
I've been dealing with horrid anxiety and really had to actively work on ch…
Loving all of the Friday plans! I'm hoping to be in bed by 10/10:30 pm as well! Hopefully anxiety won't keep me up. I wish you all the best of luck! Let's crush it!
@"Cant Get Right" thank you for your input! It is much appreciated, as always! I've probably been plateaued at my BR for two weeks. It's usually 10-13 points higher than my actual score.
What do you mean when you are talking about adopting higher l…
Hey @m.e.u_89 !
I'm so sorry to hear about your LSAT experience. The same thing happened to me when I took my first LSAT(December '15). Felt like I studied my butt off, and ended up scoring 5 points BELOW my diagnostic.
I don't know what your PT s…
Hey @CiscoDisco !
I know EXACTLY how you feel! I was in a very similar situation last year as you are right now. I worked two jobs, was finishing school, and felt like I've studied my butt off for months (I did self-study through the bibles and rea…
I definitely think that eating right, exercising, and getting enough sleep is pretty crucial to keep yourself mentally and physically fit, but I think above all it is most important to stay mentally sane and healthy/happy. If you're an extrovert (li…
Same here, so glad to see this post! I am in the same dilemma. I'd like to reach my goal score by December, but am more than willing to retake in February, since I've already delayed a year and am ready/have to start next year.
I think with applica…
I'm going to echo what others have already said on here. I totally get how you feel. I honestly still feel that way about BR sometimes. But it does help if you place your emphasis on your BR score, rather than on your timed score. Don't BR to the po…
Question to @"Cant Get Right" @twssmith and the group. Are you all taking the PT Saturday morning, since we're BRing in the afternoon/evening? Also when do you guys usually take the PT that's being reviewed on Wednesday? On Sundays? Trying to figure…
Hi @Albertoduro1xx !
We've all been there, believe me! I took the 2015 December LSAT and was in a HORRIBLE mindset! Just the worst you could be in!
I've pressed the "reset button" on my negative mindset, and only have space for positivity at this…
@GodlyOne I'd highly recommend completing your CC before your BR. You want to have rock solid fundamentals/foundation first before you start using precious PTs.
@twssmith The book should be here by the time I get off work, and I'll do two LR sections, like you suggested and will join the BR call after.
Can't wait! Excited to finally be a part of this
@EmmaWI88 at this point I am making sure I'm preparing for all kinds of weird LG games. If you can get your hands on it, the December 2015 PT had a SUPER weird game (I took that LSAT and that game murdered my score). I had never seen anything like i…
@Motivated thank you so much!! I must've been living under a rock! I did not realize that those prep tests were finally released as one of the 10 actual books!!! Just ordered mine to be here on Wednesday, so hopefully I can join in just a little bit.
