@lpadr009, this is a hard test for sure and I've been studying this test for a year. I am not close to my goal yet, but I have not given up. When you think of "give up", please remind yourself what made you come this far.As @DumbHollywoodActor said…
@DumbHollywoodActor, exactly. I was even panic when my BR is160. For anyone whose goal is above mid 160,170 BR is necessary. Fundamental necessary condition to win the battle.BTW, who can score 170 without 170 BR anyway?
@nicole.hopkins, I've been studying for around 13 months just like you. It does take long time for someone to digest these concept and use them like second nature. For someone who is not Mike Ross, a year is reasonable.
@DumbHollywoodActor, god, I thought I was the only one who crossed out 5 answer choices in RC. But I second your idea. It is not worthwhile to ruin the whole passage due to one hard question.
It is very difficult to get above 170 if your BR score is below 170. BR 170 is definitely the Necessary Condition for getting 170. Just like @Pacifico said.
I would erase how I formed my reasoning on the paper and watch explanation. If necessary, I will cut this question and pasted it on my notebook. I will do them again and again until my notebook gets lighter and lighter.
@victoriapadilla1140, BR is an integral part of your improvement in the LSAT. If you cannot reach 170s in BR, then it is almost impossible for you to get 170s. If you can't get 170 with unlimited time, how can you score 170 under timed pressure? I w…
I did PT 60s and I think they are comparative harder than 50s and 40s. Maybe it is because LSAC changed some styles. But the fundamentals are the same. Premise, conclusion, get the support, get the flaw, attack it or bridge it!
It happened to me 2 weeks ago as well when I could not finish LG in PT 60 and I had to stop. I am shooting for December and striving to score above 168. If you are still in burn-out, you should take a break and then see how it goes. If you still do …
@c.janson35, thanks for your advice. In the last passage, I always had hard time concentrating on the passage and summarizing the whole passage. Did you do this even if you were running out of time?
@victoriapadilla1140, if you do 3 PTs a week, you can do 2 retakes and 1 fresh PT. If you do 2 PTs a week, you can do 1 retake and 1 fresh PT. But the point is, you need to have solid BR. Reusing PT is still a valuable way to solidify your knowledge.

Second, while in theory anything is possible, in our shared reality anything is not possible and using it to give people unrealistic expectations is terrible advice. Sure everyone could show up in October and get a 180 just like a c…
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less travelled by, and that made all the difference. This is all I want to say to LSAT takers. Yes, this road is tough. But that is exactly what makes us different!
@nicole.hopkins, oh yes. I am not going to study 8 hours a day any more, it is too painful. Haha, this picture reminds me of lemon meringue pie... my favorite dessert!!
