I'm a reverse splitter! Would love to hear where you got in and what your stats are. I've started some applications but my LSAT score is preventing me from applying to more cuz idk how much of a chance I have. Definitely following this thread !
@TimeIsMoney ah shoot. Those are two very different reasons LOL but realistically, yeah, I can see them fishing for students. Only one of the schools has caught my attention since it's a school that has been on my mind, but I'm low-key outside their…
@nanabillan oh yeah, definitely, but still a slight discount I guess :'( I'm only utilizing the freebies if the school is on my list. So far it's only one school on my list that emailed me about the fee waiver. Other schools already waived it on the…
@"garbage.flood" very true! I'm definitely going to take advantage of the fee waivers lolol I just wasn't sure since it's only been a select few, but I'm thinking most people get them. I was just getting hyped when I saw a dream school of mine waive…
I found a mix of difficult and relatively easier exams in the 70's to 80's so it might depend on which one you took. I find the new ones much trickier for LR and more misc games for LG, but with time, you get used to them! Regardless, congrats on th…
@"amaka.okonma" As a person who went for Blueprint first, I must say that I prefer 7sage for the nuanced explanations that I didn't really find with Blueprint all the time. I agree that everyone learns differently and it might take some trial and er…
@bellahyeon14 Hi, just wanted to pop in with some reassurance! I completely understand what you're feeling. Getting a score lower than your PT average feels insanely crappy because you know you can do better. However, I just want to say that a month…
@kilgoretrout that's what I thought! Thank you for the reassurance. I was super unsure of whether I should switch to a 4 section PT, but I think mirroring test day conditions is best. I do know that the flex is literally a mix of old undisclosed exa…
@adimanm1 Maybe you can try calling LSAC to give them an explanation or maybe email? That's a crazy drop in your GPA and I would clear it up because it definitely sounds like LSAC is missing the context regarding that grade.
@jeeahnee oh gosh, I should check my writing too lolol I definitely felt some brain fog when I was taking the writing sample. Best of luck to you on the January LSAT! I hope 7sage helps you get the score you want. It's a great resource and I regret…
@ahnendc-1 Gosh, I know the feeling lol I scored 6 points below my PT average and was devastated. Just couldn't figure out what went wrong and that bugged me the most. Anyways, I'm glad to know you're back to studying and I hope we both crush the No…
@Frenchy Nah, I got the one with the super long case and wolves or something. To be honest, when I think back to the RC section I had, I didn't like it and felt iffy about it. Just didn't like the passages too much and I think that probably affected…
@kilgoretrout I'm sorry to hear you had a similar experience. It truly sucks when you feel like you did well on an exam only to find out you did worse than your usual practice exams. I am definitely going to focus on the sections/ question types tha…
@goforbroke Thank you for the reminder and some encouraging words! It's definitely easy to feel isolated and alone when studying for this exam (I don't know anyone in my personal life who is studying for this as well). I will definitely re-evaluate …
Definitely take the writing sample before your exam. I completely regret putting it off til after my August exam and am currently still waiting for them to approve my writing lol so if you want to prevent any score delays, definitely complete the wr…
@hhhakobian Theoretically, there is no difference between what day you take the exam on. I took the August flex and took it on one of the last days offered. From what I read on the flex thread, each day offered a different set of exams with mixed se…
@grsthle89 I am still waiting for my score as well and I am going insane lol I took my writing on 9/11, but the results are still pending. Tried calling LSAC but couldn't even reach an operator :'( I feel like I'm just in limbo waiting for my fate l…
@FutureLawyer77 definriely call LSAC. The lady on the phone switched my exam date to November for free. I think the deadline to change is tomorrow though
@kilgoretrout I agree with @"Savannah B" ! I moved my test date from October to November by calling LSAC. The lady on the phone changed it manually for me and said that LSAC would try to charge a fee for changing the date online if you do it yoursel…
@Frenchy I feel like LSAC did you so dirty and I am sorry that happened to you. Were you able to re-take the writing sample or send another ID photo?? I took my writing sample on 9/11 and it's still pending so I guess I am not getting my score back …
@legallytired same LOL I literally changed my October registration to November just in case cuz I have not been able to study with all this anxiety over score release lmao Let's cross our fingers for a good score :'(
@legallytired I hope so, but I doubt it. I wish they kept the writing requirement separate from score release. I don't know why they had to implement that new rule about having a writing sample on file first before score release. I get that LSAC pro…
Reading all of this makes me scared. I took mine on 9/11 and I highly doubt my writing sample will get approved by tomorrow. I just want my score lolol T.T
@legallytired I took mine on 9/11 and I'm basically assuming I won't get my score back tomorrow :'( Do you know if score preview starts when we get our score back or when scores are released in general?
@hannyrayes1 I took the August flex. You’ll do an initial room and desk scan for the proctor to review and approve. During the exam, for LG and sometimes LR, I was able to look down and write without my proctor interrupting me. However, I have heard …
@lexige1111 @kilgoretrout this happened to me when I tried to take it the first time. I ended up calling LSAC the next day and they were able to reset the link on my LSAC account, but the reset wasn’t valid for me until the day after..... but it co…
@legallytired I definitely feel that lolol I really want my score back, but I also don’t. Very conflicted honestly, but mostly don’t want it back just in case it’s bad lmao T.T
@kchurich LSAC will email you instructions on how to schedule your flex exam on ProctorU. You'll be able to log in on the day of registration and choose from a set of days and times that the flex will be administered
@pshelto8 how far along are you for CC?
If you are not done with CC, maybe you can start doing timed sections of certain problem sets or sections of the LSAT. For example, if you finished the LR portion of CC, I would recommend that you start incor…
