Make sure you do untimed drills and some timed drills before you PT. I think people have a tendency to put extra weight on their first PT post-CC as something magical or the culmination of all their hard work but that's not the case. It's just the b…
Hey there,
So a simple example of a false dichotomy is : the weather here is not hot today. Therefore, it must be cold. (I actually saw something similar on the LSAT)
This equates the absence of something being hot with being cold. Not hot can inc…
@ILikeCereal you are added
@kwdardis Yes I highly doubt they'll both be covered in one night! I actually won't be making this one so @"paulmv.benthem" is stepping in for me.
@akistotle thanks as always I'm going to call you eagle eye from now..…
As always, seeking perfection is on point. You'll also find more stories online about people whose final score was above 160. Doesn't necessarily mean that more people's final take was above a 160. That's actually a flaw! Generalizing based on a sam…
I think something that helps with RC and LR in general could be watching youtube videos on topics that appear a lot that you may not be comfortable with - earthquakes (they sure love these), biology, agriculture, physics, art history. I've found tha…
I just put them as whatever I marked them at. Your br will tell you what you would've gotten on it anyway. Just be aware that your score could fluctuate slightly because of luck. Sometimes 3/5 might have d as correct answers, other times all 5 might…
@studentservice
Perhaphs you guys can try making your own calls for RC? Essentially what the call consisted of was people took turns reading the passage. It would either be that one person reads the entire thing or people take turns reading paragra…
@Sleepysloth well again it depends on what you goal is and how close you are to it. If you're not spending enough time BR-ing then taking PT's one after another to reach the goal of 20-30 is pretty counter-productive. And as @"lady macbeth" pointed …
Depends on what your current score, goal score, and BR scores are. It's hard to give more tailored advice without knowing what exactly it is you're trying to achieve.
Then when answering the questions, I would write the line number that supported the correct answer, taking as long as needed to find the right answer. This really helped me.
This is so important. Even with inference or must be true questions, s…
I think this is a really good psychological test too. If you see it's a question you struggled with before and can't remember why or what you chose, to see what you end up choosing a different time.
I think you can try for LG and RC as well but the…
I'm weird, either I study in complete silence or I need some distraction.
It's the same for me! It's either complete silence or something on in the background.
Yeah for olsas it's all done right there, no letters are saved. So they basically write it and then either copy and paste or upload it. I think you'd have to contact olsas or lsac to figure out how to switch it over or if you can.
@ColinTurner610 not a dumb question. But basically you don't want to waste a fresh pt by being spoiled to the discussions that we are having. So yes, take the PT before joining.
It's annoying because it's a random question my brain makes up so I can't solve it. Like, let me solve this logic game or figure out this inference?? But my brain hasn't fully formed the question so when I try to solve the question I realize it's a …
I don't know if it's necessary to do ALL of them. I'd suggest skipping every 3 or 4 and doing it so that way you have PTs left over if you need a re-take but also so you don't run out of fresh material.
You can also use some of the sections from 50…
