@"Cant Get Right" @MrSamIam @rakinalikhan @danielznelson thank you all so much for your feedback and advice. I'm going to work on these suggestions and hopefully see improvement!

I would definitely start studying now, however. You already know there's a chance you will want to retake.
I agree with this 100%. If you find you don't have to retake then you only wasted 3-4 weeks on it. That's not a big los…
If you select the 'course' tab on the top of your page, you can find an option that says 'study schedule.' Go there, and then select the package you bought + the test date you're aiming for and it will create a schedule for you, week by week. It wil…
I can never listen to music when I'm doing LSAT, which is also why I end up being much more picky about the locations I choose to study. If there is music playing or lots of people talking, I immediately have to leave because I know there is no way …

How should I decide which school to visit? Since it takes time, money, effort...I think I would like to choose wisely. Or just the ones I'm interested even though it might be too challenging after I find out my score or just somewhe…

Or do you wait till after the meeting to grade your score?
I think what I'd do is grade my actual test without looking at the questions (so I don't know which ones I got right/wrong. I usually write them on a sheet separate from …

What time/date are y'all actually sitting to take these scheduled PT's that we are supposed to BR for Saturday?
I was planning to do it on Sundays, take the week to blind review the test/do anything else I need to do, and give mys…
@danielznelson & @"Cant Get Right" -- My average timed score is in the 150s but my blind review score is mid-160s. The only questions I am getting wrong are the level 4 or level 5 ones.
@rakinalikhan -- that's a strategy that I've been trying…

Which worries me because I really want Y
Don't be worried! it won't necessarily disqualify you as long as you have a strong addenda explaining, and show a big jump in your scores. I talked to one guy on TLS who told me he too…

But like I was saying, you'll also see that with the NYU retakers, it isn't like they scored a 145 on their first take and then a 173. It was more like a 164 rejection and a 170 retake that got them in.
This 100%. I've persona…
I would say cancel if you're positive that your Feb LSAT score will be higher. I agree that a cancellation + a "172" looks better than a "whats going on here" + "172". You could still write an addendum for both: the cancellation could say you knew t…

Should I keep the two addenda separate and attach two separate addenda or upload it as one file, on two separate pages?
It shouldn't be two pages. Keep your addenda short and to the point. But definitely make sure to separate the…
I would definitely recommend it! But you should also go in prepared to ask questions that you don't find already answered on their website. I think that would especially make you stand out and would really add to you as an applicant.

As long as you took the PT under "real" conditions, that 170+ score was no freak accident! Good job, keep it up.
Exactly! Glad to hear this. It's making me excited about breaking this barrier myself.
