I've taken around 15 PT's now. There are around 11 weeks until the December LSAT, and I own 25 more tests, so I'll probably finish all of those right on time if I'm taking 2-3 per week.
I'll also probably redo a couple older PT's from the curricul…
The low to mid 160's have been incredibly difficult for me to surpass as well.
A few more really good BR sessions may be the only thing standing in our way of that breakthrough score. Keep at it.
I was also thinking of taking it in October, but it really doesn't make sense to waste an attempt like that. I'll take it in December when I'm ready, and if the sky is falling that day and I mess it all up, I'll have two more shots next year. I don'…
I generally try to study for the amount of time I'll be forced to sit still on test day, so right around 3-4 hours. If I'm able to go 4 hours with only a small break, I'll call it a day. If I'm having an off day with my focus, I'll split my work up …

Change something.. maybe rearrange your desk... heck maybe move your desk... buy some marshmellowy cereal you loved as a kid and add eating a bowl to your things to do before you study. Your other groove led to burnout. Don't fret …
Although these breaks are necessary, I took 4 days off last week, but I haven't been able to get back on the groove I was on before taking the break. I was doing great, decided to reward myself with a break, but have yet to get my scores back to whe…
Half the people on TLS are apparently PTing in the 178-179 range and are just looking for ways to break into a 180. Like everyone else said, take what you read from there with a grain of salt.
I will admit though, I went 5 days of straight PTing o…
I don't think my GPA will suffer from the LSAT. I'm more worried about the other way around.
Worst comes to worst, I'll take the LSAT and apply next year. Hopefully, that doesn't have to happen though.
I've thought of doing this as well. I might try it out a couple times in the next week or so as well. It sounds like a great way to zero in on those curve breaker questions that might fool you twice as the above poster mentioned.
I've learned that I'm most focused when I've had sufficient sleep, combined with a morning workout before studying/PTing.
Also, make sure you warm up a few different type of questions before starting. I didn't think it was necessary until I tried …

No, December is not late... January-March is late... Just make sure everything else you need is good to go so it can all drop as soon as your score hits.
I'll be asking for me LOR's this month, getting in my personal statements in …
Update: Getting somewhere. Managed to pull off a 164 on PT 44 even though I completely bombed the science passage and ended with a -9 on RC. Crazy to think I would've been close to a 170 if I had done better on that section.
Spent the entire day drilling RC passages yesterday. I tried a timed section this morning and completely bombed it. Seems like I just worked up my confidence and then immediately flushed it down the toilet.
I don't think I'll take another full PT u…

@lsatblitz Congrats on hitting the 160s!!
You should consider getting the early RCs (http://www.amazon.com/LSAT-Reading-Comprehension-Type-Difficulty/dp/1453803300/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1440198977&sr=8-2&key…
Made a nice step in LR this week, and I actually made it into the 160's on a PT.
RC continues to eat away at my current tests though. Untimed, I'm able to go through the passage a few times and draw out the answers as if it were a really long LR qu…
I'm scoring and BRing at about the same range as you.
Don't take the test until you're consistently scoring at the score you want. We've still got a couple weeks until we have to withdraw from the test and be refunded our money, so I'm going to co…

I would caution you not to make a mountain out of a mole hill here because you could start to get a mental block in which you expect to get the last six wrong and then you'll just keep fulfilling that prophecy.
Of course, I'm sure…
Another update - Finally made it into the 170s on my BR! There's a nice ~13 point discrepancy between my BR and my actual score though.
It has come to the point where I'm going -0 on RC sections untimed, I was usually missing at least 1 question p…

Are you drinking enough water (try your weight divided by two ... drink that many ounces a day). How's your diet?
I'm definitely good on the diet and exercise. Definitely not a slacker when it comes to the gym

Took my first PT since finishing the curriculum this morning. Still scoring about the same, but everything is drastically different in terms of timing
- I went -0 on logic games. First time ever, so that's nice
- I actually finished both LR section…
I absolutely do want to practice law, but I don't see myself practicing law forever. If I were to start law school in the next year or two, I'd be 25 or 26 when I graduate. I might have an interest in continuing school later on in order to pursue a …
It seems like the people over at TLS swear by the Cambridge packets, while the people over here are more inclined to recommend full length practice tests and sections. I'm not gonna say that I completely regret buying the packets, but I definitely d…
