"at least starting the application" before you can even submit it?
It's honestly just so you can get a head start on it. The idea is that if you at least open the application, you can see what is required to submit, what the opti…

Unless of course law schools like to see that you've started them early.
Law schools don't see when you've started them. And even if they did this is besides the point. The idea is that you get your applications done sooner and spe…

Should I wait to submit my apps until I have my new transcripts sent in to LSAC?
Nope. Just like @Pacifico said, submit now and update later. Especially if your GPA isn't going to change significantly, go ahead and assume you…
I think you should try to learn how to be able to switch between problem types, and remember how to work through the SA questions after having done a series of other question types. It's a different kind of mental work that you need to harness.

I'm going to keep asking you questions while this topic is relevant.

@nicole.hopkins haha I love parks and rec that was a perfect gif choice. But yeah I agree. I should definitely make sure to not over do the studying so I don't burn out.

Make your decision very close to Dec 31st. If you're not already in the very high 160's by then I'd say 170-173+ in Feb. is a very, very unlikely occurrence.
This is reassuring, thank you. My plan is to take a timed practice …

If you haven't already done so, you really need to research the ins and outs of scholarships at every school to which you are applying.
exactly what @Pacifico said. there are a lot of schools that have deadlines for scholarships as…
You should wait until you get accepted before you start asking about scholarships. I would also recommend using what you have going for you to negotiate: "I scored in the 99th percentile on my LSAT and have x years of work experience and can out per…

1) I need to work on my timing, and 2) I need to build my stamina.
Hey -- yes that's definitely something I need to focus on for sure. I've noticed it as well. I also find that as comprehension becomes better, so does timing. Bu…

I would just like to highlight that none of these examples are ironclad.
I would say its situational. It's not ironclad, but there is also the very real (and common) possibility that it is. Many schools start recruiting for OCI and…
@mepujals no unicorns here! at one of the firms I worked at (largest corporate immigration firm in the world) the attorney I worked under was responsible for the firm's pro-bono practice and she was often able to fly out to different countries and w…
@mackenzie_fitzgerald you should look into the group 'Advocating opportunity' (http://advocatingopportunity.com) in Toledo, Ohio.

thank you @nye8870 that was very motivational.
@gs556 I'm currently struggling the most with LR. I get an average of -2 per LG section, and at most -5 per RC section (but can usually average it out to -3, plus have only been studying RC for a mont…
Was hoping to take the February but now it seems I may need to take the June with you all! Really nervous. Had originally planned to take the October 2015 but started studying too close to the date and have had to consistently push it back. Are any …

How would one go about screening ALL of a school's graduates and then figure out how many became successful? I've never heard of anyone doing this, but if possible would love to look at that data.

As someone who worked in a law school for a long time, and worked with transfer students as well as incoming students who had high GPA's and low LSAT scores I can tell you a few things:
1 - transferring is not as guaranteed as you might like to thi…
In the same boat! Also 30-35 hours a week is a lot and you might burn out and need a break or two between now and the February LSAT. I'm kind of struggling currently with the fact that maybe I don't have enough material to last me that long and real…
@slizzard how far are you in the PT's? I'm using tests 1-38 to drill, and tests 39-75 to practice timing, etc. I'm still in the drilling phase of my studying but would be interested in possibly doing BR together once I get to the PTs.

Are you using any strategy books? If anything, it may seem like you have to just take a break. step back, reorient yourself and then tackle the questions again.
@slizzard I am in the exact same situation! I would love to take it in December, get a high score, and submit applications by January. I have everything completed, just like you, and quit my soul sucking legal administrative assistant/law clerk job,…
I'm currently registered for the December 2015 LSAT, would absolutely love to hit 170+ but if I'm not hitting about 167+ by the end of October, then I'm going to have to find a way to take it in February instead. It's a little discouraging -- I've a…
