You are welcome @"always learning".
Okay here's my breakdown of percentiles. I wouldn't blame you for scrolling away now....last chance....okay you're doing this. Percentiles (think percentage of a certain group in this case, a fall class) are som…
If I've learned anything from Sage advice, it is that all the best prep materials mean absolutely nothing if you don't strategically put hard work, effort, and time into your prep. That said, I've used the Trainer for RC and LG numerical distributio…
Hey @ChrisN21 ! Do you know about the BR study groups? We usually review the LR sections first (as they are easier to review with a group) but we've also discussed LGs and RC sections at the end of the sessions. From your post, it seems like you wou…
Hi @yuan.z.qu yay! I'm glad you'll be joining us. The size of the BR groups depends on if people see the posting and can make the time. The Wednesday call was tiny (4 of us) but there has been as many as 16 or so over the summer. Hmm I would just ex…
Yeah I totally agree with @jknauf and @"Alex Divine" ! If anything, taking a diagnostic test is a nice little humbling experience that helps provide a dose of understanding regarding how challenging the LSAT can be. It also shows you how/why one sho…
@"Cant Get Right" That's so awesome! So now that your dream school is yours, I'm expecting you to challenge @"Accounts Playable" for global dictator ---don't disappoint me.
Looking at the stats for each school from their websites...
NYU: GPA 25th/75th percentile -- 3.7/3.9 LSAT --- 166/171
Columbia: GPA 25th/75th percentile-- 3.56/3.81 LSAT -- 168/174
I'd say you have a good chance provided your application doesn't …
@"Jonathan Wang" Thanks for that explanation. I second @montaha.rizeq If you dropped in there and did an informal talk that would definitely help and I'd show up!
@"Dillon A. Wright" Thanks for the cool resource. I'll check it out!
CONGRATS JOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you were gonna be a Sage soon. I'm also glad your Birthday wasn't ruined haha! Happy Birthday! I hope you have a super awesome time celebrating!
@Kateryna I drilled with PTs from the 10s, 20s, 30, and 40s. I except for some of the later 40s PTs I wanted to save as much of the later PTs to simulate test conditions. If I took PTs in the 50 and 60s then I would add LR question types from those …
@"Alex Divine" and @"Wind-Up Bird" really hit the nail on the head--don't rush your prep. I second what @lawlawlovely said as well---the LSAT trainer can definitely reinforce the lessons from 7sage. That said the Trainer is really great at helping o…
After I finished the core curriculum I started drilling LR question types (using analytic and the question bank). Are you missing questions of the same type or are the question types all over the place? Have you started fool proofing the LGs? You'll…
Yeah you are correct--you can conclude that. It really helped me to hone in and memorize the combinations of some and most intersections so that when I went to a stimulus, I was able to immediately see what forms were valid and which ones were not.
@"Alex Divine" thanks
@EmmaWI88 I'm glad this was able to help you. You are very welcome. Once you practice and make adjustments, please let me know how it goes with SA questions!!!
Tyler, I cannot thank you enough for being such a fabulous 7sage mentor and friend for me. You've answered so many of my questions and really helped me improve. Your encouragement has meant the world to me, as I would not have been as involved as mu…
