Hi, thanks for sharing this. I will email LSAC with the screenshot I took from the webinar. It seems like they're giving out conflicting information because this is not what they said in the Q&A (where they mentioned 4 retakes).
@lexxx745 It doesn't look like there is a way to send screenshots via PM. I recommend emailing LSAC yourself to have this information in writing if they don't update their websites to include it. I can post the convo here, though.
Me: "Will LSAT fl…
Hi - they did say in the Q&A section of a webinar that they expanded the test take limit for 2020-2021 to 4 takes due to spring cancellation limits. I took a screenshot of this as proof, although I don’t think there’s a way to post pics on here.…

Yeah for anyone worried about it being more competitive - I would consider the fact that schools (based on what I heard in the webinar, if anyone reads competing info please correct me) aren’t going to grant mass deferrals to people due to online cl…
I got the impression that it's up in the air. There might be a slight increase in competitiveness, but schools don't seem like they're going to grant mass deferrals. They will consider case by case evaluations for deferrals, like international stude…
"Yes, it will. However, during 2020-21, the limit will be increased to 4, since the March and April tests had to be cancelled."
^LSAC's response to my question of if the Flex will count toward test limits.
Yeah - I think anyone who is really opposed to taking the Flex for whatever reasons probably needs to accept that they have to delay their applications by a cycle.
Pros
-Better testing environment for many people (no coughing and sniffling peers in the test center)
-No commute to test center, getting lost in test center, etc
-Shorter test so less fatigue
-No experimental
-Use your own computer instead of …
Just a heads up - LSAC is giving another forum about law school & covid today at 1pm ET. They may be able to answer anyone’s questions about this update in the Q&A there
They are grouping two administrations (March and April) into one and shortening tests, so I don’t doubt there is a surplus of available questions for that reason alone.
Also some people have been asking if they can read out loud or talk to themselves during the test - that is specifically mentioned as not allowed in the newly updated guidelines!
Lol I wonder why they are so strict with allowing people pencils and not pens? It's not the biggest deal, I can go out and buy pencils, but I don't understand the purpose of only allowing No 2 pencils and not pens.
@FindingSage Yup I would probably delay my June test if they even limit scratch paper to a certain amount of sheets. And, not to be a pessimist, but I think it's highly unlikely that things will be calm enough by July for that to be administered in …
@FindingSage Yeah I burn through pages on PTs for games. Use anywhere from 1-3 pages per game. I agree that using a whiteboard and erasing wouldn’t work well at all for the LSAT. Maybe it works fine for GRE because each math problem is short and don…
I'm sorry but what the hell?? How on earth does one do Logic Games without scratch paper?? Even some LR questions need diagramming/formal logic. That makes no sense lol. If they decide not to allow scratch paper I'm postponing my test until they can…

@sarahisk My personal opinion is that everyone, including those guaranteed to take a Flex, should still be PTing with 4 (or 5) sections. Getting used to taking more sections than you have to can only be beneficial in terms of managing fatigue. Addit…
I don't understand why they would want to cut out the second LR section in the first place? I can understand cutting out the experimental because the test would be taken under "unique" conditions so the results of an experimental won't provide advic…
@theravdiaries LSAC isn't answering this on the current webinar but they said there will be a future webinar on just the LSAT flex. Hopefully they can answer your question there (or over email)
Maybe it would be helpful to ask LSAC if the flex test counts toward the limit of 3 tests per year. For those are considering taking it and have the time/money for a retake but don't want to "waste" a test sitting
