Update my GPA actually dipped 0.02 because of a transcribing error they made - I caught it, emailed them about it, and they updated my records. Glad I went over them haha
Not sure if this applies to you, but I know that the CC heavily stresses diagramming just to teach it, but you definitely shouldn't be diagramming the majority of LR questions. That could possibly be a source of slowing you down?
LSAC finished processing my transcripts today so wanted to contribute to my own thread - my GPA dropped 0.02. Due to my institution counting A- as 3.7 instead of 3.67 and having a handful of those.
You can find written explanations frequently in the comments! I know it's not exactly what you are looking for. Unfortunately I don't believe they have transcripts for all (any?) of the video explanations yet.
I don't really think your method seems…
I've also had that experience. What I will say is that having those "duh, that's obvious" moments has trained me to be more literal and to make less of these mistakes. On each question I will ask myself does this have to be true. Can the answer be r…
Unless you have to wake up at noon for work or some other important reason, I would suggest changing your sleep schedule now to make it a habit. Maybe not necessarily waking up at 6am, but try 8am? So that waking up at 6 won’t be such a shock
For s…
I could see why you feel that way, I'm also PTing around that score and find my answers to LR don't typically change in BR. I do see value in BRing LG because I usually get 1-2 wrong during PT and know I can get -0 in under time. If you're comfortab…
Hi! How was your diagnostic? Did you feel comfortable taking the test and with the types of questions? If you're in a good position, I would maybe suggest jumping straight into PTs. Take a PT on the weekend then BR each section throughout the week. …
Also want to clarify - by so many different types, I don’t mean the basic types like sequencing, grouping, misc, etc. There aren’t too many of those. I mean there are so many games that will feel slightly similar to ones you’ve done before because t…
Yes it would be unwise to push off studying games. If your diagnostic was June 07 like most people’s, I think those games are slightly easier than the average section. Even if your diagnostic was a different test, there are so many different types o…
If you have a specific example of a "math" question I can try to walk you through how I would approach it!
I don't personally use any kind of process/equation for questions involving math. The ones I have encountered seem to just be testing your kn…
I feel like there are a lot of components that this depends on! For example, I work a 9-5. I can't really do PTs until weekends so how much time I can study in 3-4 weeks is less than someone who isn't studying/working full-time.
You definitely aren…
What I have read on here is that you need to just pick a separate PT and sacrifice one section from there. Not sure if they have updated the digital PT to allow you to add a fifth section. My problem with that method is you obviously will know the l…
And thank you everyone who has been saying congrats!!!
Also just wanna add that the first ever diagnostic I took ~2 years ago was a 157. I took the diagnostic and didn't bother studying/taking the LSAT because at the time I didn't fully want to go …
@chisal17
Sure!! I honestly don't have a really special/interesting study routine. I went through the CC on here pretty quickly a couple of months ago. Since then, I have been trying to PT 1-2 times every weekend. Two times is hard because that mea…
"After going through the 7Sage Curriculum and taking a Kaplan live course, the highest score out of three LSATs was a 140."
Are you doing full-length PTs as part of your studying? Passively watching videos isn't enough to develop the test-taking sk…
Are you rushing through the passage and then finding yourself going back to it a lot? You can save a lot of time by reading the passage more slowly/carefully so you only have to refer back for line-specific questions
