The only school that says timing does not matter at all is Yale. Every other school functions on a rolling admissions basis. So if you are targeting YLS and score 175+ in February, then shoot your shot. Otherwise you are doing yourself a disservice …
"Re: the GPA, I think you have a better case. I'd consider discussing that in your personal statement and not submitting the GPA addendum. But, you have to connect the dots. A lot of people had and still have personal strife; how did the relationshi…
Do new games instead of old games. It helps to map out a long-term study schedule between now and your test date so you know how many PTs you can use without "wasting" all of them. You should still foolproof old games
I don't think that an unsupported claim can be considered an intermediate conclusion.
To be an intermediate conclusion, a statement needs to both have a premise supporting it and be its own premise that supports another conclusion.
I just looked a…
Hmm I don't know that you can appeal it to LSAC directly because it sounds like they are just following their policy (and haven't made a mistake), but I recommend talking to your registrar about sending LSAC that context. They might be more likely t…
One really strong optional is better than one really strong optional plus one mediocre optional. If only one of the optional prompts speaks to you, only write that one.

I'm holding out for in-person, but my instructor, says he thinks it's unlikely they'll switch back, even after COVID. He gave a lot of good reasons, one of them being that flex is much easier for LSAC logistically speaki…
How are you doing your BR? Are you only going to the questions you flagged? I highly recommend reviewing every question slowly instead of just the ones you flagged, that helps attack erroneous assumptions you may be making
If you are in between two…
I think the newer games have more challenging board set ups. Like even game 1 would never be a simple linear game, there would be some kind of twist. Definitely worth trying out some games from the 80s to see the difference. And then obviously there…
"Basically, I'm curious whether buying the powerscore bible right now is going to confuse me by giving me a new system this latw in the game (I'm very used to setting things up as J.Y does)."
Honestly I think it might, I found the PowerScore LG set…
I don't think you should write an addendum at all - having multiple test scores with a higher second one is very common. If a school requires you to write an LSAT addendum, and you didn't change your study methods / can think of no other reason why …
I would say try doing some new games untimed so you can really focus on making the inferences without the stress. That might help build up confidence - it sounds like you understand games well but maybe choke under time? And then as you do well with…
1) Consider reevaluating how you are doing games. When I used to try to draw out the game boards with all the possible worlds before answering the questions, I would get stressed about timing and end up rushing through questions and making careless …
"I tried to read the passages in 2-3 minutes but I pretty much retain nothing. I think I'd rather spend more time up-front and get through the questions quickly, I even thought about not reading the passage at all or skim it in 1-minute and then com…
"The trap AC would have been perfect if we changed "some" to most or all, and I know this happens frequently. I was a bit shocked at the correct AC, however, and am now curious enough to see if some/many are essentially instant disqualifiers."
Ok t…
This would create so much mayhem lol. Sometimes they will drop a question or two from scoring (uncommon but it has happened). All this would do is cause LSAC to receive an influx of emails asking about scoring, scaling, etc which they don't release …
Yeah it's hard to give feedback without your timeline or goals. If you just want to score a 155 that's probably feasible with a 150 diagnostic.
Even if you finish the CC before the Oct exam, you still need time to take practice tests to gauge how w…
This is my thought process for these types of questions. I try to think of them in the positive/what can be, rather than in the negative/what cannot be. If that makes sense.
The meeting CANNOT begin UNLESS at least six people are present
So if the…
They see every score and cancellation on file from the past 5 years. Score preview allows you to see your score before you decide to cancel it (usually you have to cancel before receiving a score). Schools will still see that cancellation on record,…
I don't think A is a common place for trap answer choices, but I do know that the trap answer choice is often the one right above the correct answer choice. So reading from E to A may help avoid picking the trap. No matter where you start you should…
What is your LSAC gpa? If you are aiming for any top 7 school, a 171 is good enough. If you think you are capable of getting to 175 or above and have the time to study and retake, then you would greatly increase your chances at HYS.
Not sure how this is a diversity factor since most people have to learn a second language because of high school or college curriculum requirements. Could be a great personal statement though!
