@skymann05 i would just add that you want to keep track of your actual timed score so you have a better idea of what you will score on test day. Whatever your scantron has at the end of 35 minutes is what should be in your analytics then keep track …
@"LSAT Determined" it sounds to me like your study habits are bad. This could be a prime example of quantity does not equal quality. I would camp out on one question at a time taking as much time as you need to have 100% comprehension. If it takes y…
@"LSAT Determined" I believe, but could be mistaken, that 155 is the average score. This should not be that hard to acheive. I would aim for at least a 160. You would be doing the same things in your studies anyway. What study materials do you hav…
@iansull425 it depends on where you want to go. If your scores are in the 75th percentile then why not apply? If they are in the 50th or 25th then ask youself how important scholarships are to you.
@2015student Go through the course first and once you have a solid grasp of the fundamentals then start PTs. Seriously, don't waste PTs until you get through the course.
If you are not applying this next cycle then take the june 2016 test and get your application in early next year. To improve on LR you MUST be doing a thorough blind review. How many fresh PTs do you have to take?
My undergrad is in music and my aunt who taught at u of chicago (political theory) told me that it will make me stand out a little bit. She also went to yale for political theory, knows a lot about admissions and has lawyer friends so I think her op…
He took tests for 3 weeks and said he eventually recognized answers. He said the lsat is a test of speed so juat taking it over and over again is the way to go (according to him).
3...i just checked u of chicago numbers you are well within the range and they are top 5. I would focus on writing stellar essays and securing solid LORs then apply. Congrats on 171.
Yes buy PTs. You really want your PT sample set to be around 40 or 50 (mine was also around 15-20). The LSAT trainer helped me a lot on RC and is not that expensive.
Yes. Thanks for the positive words everyone. It also helps to keep in mind that, as JY points out, you should already know what score you are going to get. So the only real uncertainty is where on that +-3 scale you will fall. Another thing I read f…
I have taken that course and I second the notions above. It won't be of particular advantage. Perhaps a little, but certainly not enought to warrent needing it. Plus, games are the easiest to improve on and the more you do them the better you get.
@Pacifico Thanks. You always have great advice to give. I was asking because I'm nearing the 90th percentile in the 30s and I wonder if it will continue that way. I am definitely going to start skipping around more so I am more prepared.
@shiv.tomer1 I'm going through it right now along with the Trainer RC section. So far it has been fast. It's an easy read and it has helped so much. The only thing you have to watch out for is that they use more recent PTs so if you haven't taken th…

Idk how you can write 4
I'm currently working that out. I basically just want to get through all the PTs and it is around 3.33 a week right now so I have to take 4 for one maybe two weeks.
Hmm...the more recent PTs will be more like the one we will see on test day but the older ones are still helpful. I am doing 3-4 a week and I work 50ish hours a week. If you can handle it try PT one day BR the next. If you think you will get burnt o…
