I usually bubble before I turn the page for LR, every game or passage for LG and RC. At the 5 minute warning I bubble everything I have so far on that page, and then I bubble question by question until time is called.
For painkillers, I found that nothing beats Alleve (well, nothing OTC) - however, it's very hard on the stomach, so some people have to take it with a proton pump inhibitor, especially for longer term use. Once a week or so should be fine though.

That's terrible! You should probably try to take your PT's somewhere comfortable for you (if there is such a place), so you're not in constant pain for months, and maybe take a painkiller of your choice (experiment beforehand) on test day to keep t…
It probably depends on your circumstances, and what else you have going on in your life that's affecting your motivation and positivity.
Some people like to focus on the very long term - this is one step toward their goal of practicing law, and vis…
Ooooh, thank you so much! I didn't even know about these awards - and nobody has ever mistaken me for "helpful" before ;-).
This community is absolutely amazing, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
@Alejandro that sounds about right.
@"Grey Warden" - the fact that a certain answer can be right or wrong depending on what the question stem is asking for, especially when applied to SA/NA/weaken and learning to discern the difference between the t…
I wake up 6-7 AM as well for work and to drop off kids, so I expect I'll do that Monday June 6th as well. Even though I'm used to getting up early, I actually like that the June test is in the afternoon, since it would be impossible for me to PT mi…
The example you are giving is a Sufficient Assumption. With the two premises, (one cup of coffee is not too much caffeine AND she only drinks one cup of coffee) and knowing "she doesn't drink anything else containing caffeine" you are guaranteed th…
The first thing I would look at is if there are pieces that are used multiple times. If each piece is only used once, then a chart might not be very useful.
If they are, then it depends on what sort of information you have in the premises. Charts a…
1. You can't draw any inference about any sedans being red, and Manhattan are not saying that you can. They say you can draw the inference that some things are red. Which is true, assuming cars are things.
2. Again, you can't make any inference abo…
The contrapositive of "if H goes to Y then G will go to X" would be "if G doesn't go to X, then H doesn't go to Y".
If this is a game setup where they tell you "G goes to Y", and there's only one G, then you know that G doesn't go to X, which trigge…
I'm afraid there will always be a chance that your actual LSAT exam will include a board setup you've never seen before, even if you did every single game released. Some setups are just unique (the pattern game in 72 and the star game in 38 spring …
@allan.kogan How long have you been doing the Fool Proof for (not timewise, but how many of the games from PT's 1-38 have you already done and proofed)?. The method takes time and variety in the games covered.
I thought the same as you, that I will…
There aren't, because JY only uses old LSATs for the problem sets, to leave all the recent ones pristine for full length PT practice. The comparative passages were introduced in PT 52, and the problem sets use PT 1-38ish.
I believe that you might have some lingering confusion about these two. You say that "for SA I pick the choice that keeps the conclusion 100% intact, similar to NA questions"
NA doesn't need to "keep the conclusion 100% intact" (by which I understa…
Looks like Feb 1997 is only available as part of LSAC's "ItemWise" subscription ($18). You can't get a pdf or hardcopy, just the questions in their online tool. I guess that would be enough to give you exposure to the games?
Amazon claims to have s…
@"Chipster Study" sounds like you have a very good idea of why you want to get a JD, so I wouldn't put too much stock on what anybody thinks. I don't think they are worried that you would be arrogant, or unpleasant, or in some way unsuitable to be …
Two classes should be perfectly fine. It will give you something other than LSAT prep to think about so you don't drive yourself nuts. 7hrs a day seems a bit excessive, but I guess it's like going to the gym. In the first few weeks you are full of …
Here's the link to @Pacifico's method. Is a variant of the Fool Proof method, with very detailed step-by-step instructions.

Incidentally, PT74 was my worst LG score o…
It depends on the school. Some close the application cycle for 2016 as early as Feb 1st, some go as late as April 1st. I'd check with the schools you are interested in for their specific deadlines. Also, I think most people would advise against a…
Though not necessarily in clusters, the questions I miss always seem to be 12 and 18 (sometimes 19 too so I do think there's a "difficulty peak" around there. The analytics seem to confirm that those are areas rich in level 5 questions. It's possib…
Thanks @noobie1 and @IPmummySF for your perspectives. I have a PhD in Chemistry and many years of pharma experience and I'm in Boston, which is probably one of the better markets for this sort of background. Most of the firms seem to expect their pa…
I think this one is tricky because of the way the words are arranged. Even though "only" comes right before work, it actually introduces Tuesday. Most people would read it as "I only work ON TUESDAY (not Monday, or Wednesday, just Tuesday). You ca…
Finally bit the bullet and signed up for June LSAT. Apart from my husband, there's nobody else IRL that would really need to know, so I thought I'd tell you guys instead. I'm feeling oddly nervous, like this is somehow making it all real. I have …
@Martin01 Do you have an example of a question that gives you trouble? Most MBT questions are based on conditional reasoning but it's sometimes a little hard to see it as such
@twssmith - the tri-conderogas can be sharpened with the large hole of the Staedler sharpener mentioned by @nikdim67. I got mine on Amazon instead of Staples ( http://www.amazon.com/Staedtler-Double-hole-Tub-Pencil-Sharpener/dp/B001E67Z16/ref=sr_1_2…
How are your BR scores? If you're not very close to perfect on BR, then the strategy of skipping a passage to give you more time on the remaining three is going to backfire, because you are automatically giving up 6-7 points AND can't guarantee that…
My Scantron sheet says "use black No2 or HB pencils only", so I'm guessing they are similar enough. The common wisdom of the internets seems to be that a "middle of the scale" HB is pretty much a 2, but none of the scales are truly standardized.
