I will also add to @"Leah M B" 's comment (for other people who may be reading this) that you also have to include any schools that you attended but didn't get credit from. If you have a transcript, even if it's all W's, you have to send it. I am ac…
You might get some help looking at the valid argument types from the Validity and MBT section. You could also look at the 19 common argument flaws and think about what the opposites of those would be. I'm not sure if that will help, but that's the b…
If you're not applying early decision, you're fine taking the November test. Plus, it gives you an extra month and a half to study. But yeah... they took away the late registration deadline.
Your BR score is always possible. Your discrepancy is pretty high, which shows a lot of potential. I think that in 40 days you can get to a 162, keeping in mind that most people score about 3 points lower than their PTs on actual test day.
I have read on some schools' websites that you shouldn't use academic references if you have been out of school for more than 5 years. It might have been 5 or more years. Either way, I would suggest looking at each school's requirements/recommendati…
Hey! I'm just starting to PT, but I am scoring pretty much the same as you are! RC is my strength for sure, though I have to work on speed. I'm not amazing at LG (-8 on PT60 today) and my LR sections vary from -3 to -8. I tend to do very well on the…
Hey! I'm just starting to PT, but I'm also testing in September. I would be down to go through some PTs in the 50s (though I will probably be using those as individual drill sections). My schedule is super flexible.
I don't have advice that hasn't already been given, but seriously, DO NOT go with Kaplan unless you are really struggling with the basics. In my opinion, if you're willing to spend the money on Kaplan, you should upgrade your 7sage course instead.
@akistotle so I actually had the intention of doing the whole PT, but didn't get to the RC (4th) section because I got so tired I couldn't focus anymore. That being said, I also haven't done a BR yet, though I did see that I got basically all of the…
For MBT questions: the opposite of "must be true" is "could be false". Go down the list of answer choices and ask yourself if it's possible for the answer to be false. If so, it doesn't have to be true.
MSS answers can be anticipated at times.. usu…
@keets993 thats so good to know! I have been freaking out today because I took my first PT post-CC (except for the RC because I was too tired ) and I was really disappointed by my score. Idk if a September score is going to be good enough for me.
@akistotle fair enough! Thanks! So now I'm wondering why someone said you weren't allowed to bring a highlighter. I just took a look at some of the old discussions, and I guess I didn't have to ask this haha. Sorry.
Now that I have your attention..…
Yesterday, I did the LR sections from a PT in the 30s and got -3 on each LR section. Today, I did LR sections from PT 60 and got -8 on each one. I guess this is normal because it's not like I lost a ton of brain cells between yesterday and today.
I would revisit the CC and watch the videos for any type of question you're having trouble with. There is likely some confusion or ambiguity in your thought processes if going with your gut isn't working out for you. (I wouldn't recommend that strat…
My best guess is that there was a bias-related issue that slipped through the past experimental sections. For example, they realized that 60% of ESL test takers got it wrong while only 10% of those with English as their first language got it wrong.
More:
PT30S4Q8: "The argument presumes that no other evidence is relevant to the issue at hand"
Relative v. absolute? I have no idea.

Not a law student, but I've dealt with this in the rest of life-- especially at work. While working retail, I was promoted into management right before I turned 20. I was very young and inexperienced compared to most of the managers in my district. …
Your study plan is great in theory, but will lead to burnout in practice. (My personal experience is not unique on this.) Definitely give yourself two days off, or at least one day off with two half-days. Your brain actually needs time to rest and p…
This happens to me with RC. The more you BR, the more you'll see where the overconfidence errors are. And make sure you're watching the videos for the questions you got wrong!
