I based on the LSAT Analytics tool, it is pretty clear to me that there are more difficult questions in the second LR section. Like I'll go -4 on the first section and -7 on the section.
Any school that advertises their LGBTQ+ stats on its website is definitely one to check the box for. If you think it'll negatively affect your chance of admission somewhere, don't check the box. But honestly, I don't think it will hurt you.
If you're doing two PTs a week (not recommended long-term), do them timed. The BR process is where you get to do everything untimed, so there's no point in burning through other PTs that you can't use again.
I don't think it will be a big deal for most schools, especially given your circumstances. I would ask someone who has more experience with this like @"David.Busis".
Just an update, @Sami has me writing out the extracted method of reasoning for the questions that I am doing. For example, "This new thing should happen because there is more of this good thing and less of this bad thing". After I write a bunch of t…
I really wouldn't write an addendum. Based on what has already been said, stating that you did not know the rule about using the bathroom doesn't mean that the proctor who let you go was right to let you do so. You might be able to call and ask if t…
I think that if you use the first topic for your personal statement, you really need to make it about you and not your child. (Btw, you're an awesome mom to be so accepting.) You'd need to write about your personal journey through this and how you g…
@dkny2013 that's so funny! I really hate that CD question. Also, that lizard/snake one was crazy! I think I did it 20 times before moving onto the next question. And how tf did she go from a 143 PT (I wonder what her diagnostic was lol) to a 179? I …
Hey! So I'm likely going to take an extra year to study. I was registered for September, but I think it's too much for me to study, start a new job, and do all of these essays rn. (I also have to do an addendum and a diversity statement.) For me, a …
@MissChanandler it's so crazy! I had that happen to me a few times in the past, but never in a demeaning way. And the straight privilege thing that @"surfy surf" mentioned is so real. I have a friend who is pan and she's married to a straight man. N…
I'm not in law school, but I went to college in the South. I'm bisexual and have never really felt disadvantaged-- just uncomfortable. However, my sexual orientation is not something that I advertise. I also have to say that I am pretty feminine, so…
I can’t tell you how accurate it is, but For the People is great... also How to Get Away with Murder when they actually show the parts related to school and not murders lol.
Apparently, Penn really loves their ED applicants. I read you're like 900% more likely to get in ED than regular applicants. I wouldn't give up hope, but you should probably retake the LSAT if those schools are really important to you.
I know some people who do 3 passages, like @ebalde1234 does, but I read in a prep book that you shouldn't do that because it puts a lot of pressure on you to get those 3 right. It definitely works for some people, though. Anyway, with a skipping str…
I'm sorry you're dealing with so much anxiety throughout this process. I'm a realist, so I'm not going to tell you that everyone can do this with enough determination, willingness, etc. I REALLY wanted to be a neurologist. I'm not a calculus person,…
I think that having access to so many PTs with Ultimate+, you should be pretty aware of your strengths and weaknesses before test day. It's always good to see where you struggled under pressure, but I don't think it's a strong enough reason to not t…
Congrats! That's great improvement. If you want to score a 160, you should be looking to PT around 163. It seems like LG is your biggest opportunity. Freezing up with the miscellaneous games is where I always lose my time/points. The more you practi…
I think it's important to recognize that "soft" admission factors can be the differences between being rejected vs waitlisted, waitlisted vs accepted, scholarship vs no scholarship, etc. If you were the President of your college's debate team or had…
I know someone who used it for physics and liked it, but I haven't heard any good things about it for LSAT prep. As much as I want it to be awful so that I have a clear advantage over people who are using it, I really think that it should be a decen…
So it looks like you have some good advice on here. What I will add is that there are two quizzes in the CC that can really help with identifying question stems, as well as flash cards. I like to make my own flash cards, actually.
