katheeh, bringing the husband and the dog sounds like a great way to soothe the nerves... I'm hoping they have "real coffee" down at the buffet; I won't be touching the pouch crap in the room!
Anyone else staying at a hotel tonight? I'll be at one within walking distance from the test center. Fortunately I tend to sleep pretty well away from home. I figure it beats spending an hour and a half of driving the morning of the exam... plus I'l…
Thanks to every one of you who responded. I kept what you guys said in mind and finally cancelled it a minute ago. I'll be ready to rock in December (I need to remember to get a Flu shot...)
180's to all you 7Sagers taking the test tomorrow!
Thanks, 170. I just don't want to keep my life on hold any longer. I'm definitely going to take the December test; my dilemma is whether to cancel my test for this Saturday now given my lack of adequate preparation and lack of proper health.
When is it too late to reschedule to December? I was just looking and more schools than I thought consider average test scores. I'm really not going to be "Ready" in October. I figured there wasn't much harm in trying, though...
I'm aiming for December but I'm going to take the October anyway. Maybe I'll have a good day. I'm only applying this cycle, so I figure I might as well use my opportunities to take it.
I would leave it blank. Guessing an answer right means nothing and will mislead the analytics. Personally I just add .2 points to my total score for each unanswered question when computing my score. It takes out the random element.
Ugh. How the heck do you people do those LG's so fast?? At least half the time I miss more on LG than on RC and both LR sections combined. I missed 12 on LG last time and 9 total on the rest. I feel your pain, just in a different area.
I hear you. I feel like I am learning so much but my score has barely budged. I'm just trying to keep on plugging away, 10 PTs isn't too many from what folks have said here.
Wish I could point you towards more specifics but I know I've read that you can equate URM status towards at least a few LSAT points. Make sure you write a good diversity statement!
Wish I could. I really could use that much time... but I just can't wait another year. And from all I've heard February is too late to be competitive in admissions for this cycle. So I will skip it unless I'm waitlisted somewhere and I think it migh…

I'm in the exact same spot. Scoring low 160's and BRing 175+. Would be nice to hear what people have done to fix this problem.
How many PT's have you taken?

I've set a hard limit now of 3 tests or 40 hours. Rest of the time will be chillin'.
You better make sure that chill time is CHILLLLLLLLLLL ...
I'm currently slurping on a chocolate milkshake... does …
Thank you to all of you folks for your words of wisdom. I've set a hard limit now of 3 tests or 40 hours. Rest of the time will be chillin'. The problem is when I'm working, my work days are typically 10-11 hours and I'm just too drained to take a P…
Oh dear lord are you going to have fun in law school. Well, if you went to Princeton, I guess you already know what it's like in the lion's den! Unfortunately the next President is going to be a mouthy Penn grad... ;]
Thanks. Manhattan seems to place some crazy amount of emphasis on "the scale" above following the reasoning structures which seems a little weird to me. I don't understand why it's so popular.
Also, RC needs a tl;dr at the end of each passage.
Thanks. I don't feel like it's impressive because it's a timed test. I really need a 170+ for my admissions goals. And to be honest, I hate taking PT's, but if that's the only way to build speed I guess that's what I'll have to do.
