@eRetaker @NotMyName Just found out apparently I had a fee waiver from Berkeley on LSAC, no emails. I guess I'm gonna recommend checking your boxes every once in a while for easter eggs then:) I know Berkeley said to you they don't grant merit fee w…
@"Leah M B" Very good point! I'm sitting on them just cause I'm procrastinating. Probably should get them out next week. And @NotMyName I'm also "patiently" waiting for my last LOR lol
@eRetaker That's puzzling then. Why are schools not increasing their LSAT medians when number
of applicants with high scores shoot up? Is that saying they are focusing more on essays and softs then? Also are Berkeley and Michigan the only schools…
@"surfy surf" I think you can potentially get deferred to regular pool. Not sure whether it will be more competitive though though I'm inclined to say no given according to myLSN like over 80% of PT are accepted or something like. I would make sure …
So apparently Michigan and Duke both waived my application fee but neither of them sent me an email about it:) you might wanna check Michigan as well @NotMyName
@eRetaker Some very good points! I guess we can’t really talk about this without more quantitative information. I think on my CAS report over 70% of Duke LSAT scores are below 95% or 168. I don’t know whether that’s an average for everybody but I se…
@eRetaker I disagree on that. At least at Duke where I went to undergrad 85% of students who apply in a given year gets admitted to at least one med school. I don’t think the percentage of students who get into at least one T14 school is gonna be as…
@eRetaker I have been a pre-med for the majority of my undergrad and I don't think people are nearly as crazy about MCAT as pre-laws are about LSAT though. It doesn't weigh as much in the admissions process and as long as you get into A med school y…
I got exactly the same as my PT average -173 even though I've never gotten a 173 while PTing; they were either 176 or 170. I thought I did average and actually guessed 173 so no surprise there.
Well I'm glad they did this though cause I wasn't stressing at all minutes before seeing the scores. Unfortunately it won't work for you man = = I'm sorry @surfy surf
JY sometimes indicates the recommended time in the beginning of the video explanations for the passages. But I don’t think it’s that helpful for RC to follow the recommended time because RC speed is very much dependent on background. For example, I’…
I also did that for my final two month of studying (every other day) and it’s definitely doable. And I took around 75/83 PTs available. Just make sure to stop and review whether you see severe score drops. I think burn out really depends on who you…
