On a related topic. Be cognizant of the way question 1 is ordered. I've had it where I arrange my board from highest to lowest for example, and then the first question is the standard, "which of these is possible" but ordered from lowest to highest.…
I'm doing a LR section and a games sections tonight, an RC and games section tomorrow, and then taking Thursday and Friday completely off. Maybe some application work.

My worst experience was in a game that has things discovered in the 8th century CE, 9th century CE and 10th century CE, and I mistakenly identified 8th century as the most recent (which would have been true had they been talkin…

30 tequila shots in 10 minutes. Never in my life have I stayed sober for this long.
So true. I'm going to grab a pizza and a fifth and try to forget what the LSAT is.
Plan some sort of warm up for the morning of the test. I do two easy games, 10 LR questions and an easy RC passage. Key is to do easy questions that kickstart your brain, but also keep confidence high and don't tire you out.
I'm definitely in the flip-flopper camp, environmental, contract, and IP all have caught my interest. Lately though, I've been thinking a lot about trying to do something in the public policy sphere. But what specifically would be hard to say. Proba…

I agree with having the right mindset but when it comes to clothing I think I am slightly opposite to you. I actually have study clothes, clothes that I bought to wear only when I study. But instead of them being jeans or a nice sh…

Continue to study with the beard. When you shave the day before the test, your reflexes will be that much faster on test day. That's my plan at least
Shoot, I should've been doing this!!! I guess I could shave my head, anythi…

I wouldn't do it. The average age is 7 years older because law schools systematically prefer applicants with more experience in the real world, not because there …
What I do, and what it seems like many others do as well, is a light warm up before leaving home. Like 1 or 2 games, 10ish LR and 1 RC passage. Use all questions that youve seen before and are on the easier end of the spectrum. The goal is to get yo…

@"Seeking Perfection" That's my goal! I just need uChicago, northwestern, and I think one more! Hoping my 175 in December will bring them running!
Northwestern is giving th…
If t14 is your goal, you are definitely going to want to postpone. Applying late in this cycle you probably need a 165 minimum.
Also, high BR means you understand the concepts quite well, it's probably timing that you struggle with. Unfortunately …
@TheMikey Sweet! I'm glad I noticed, I was about to send out a mass email requesting consideration for waivers that by an large I'd already been granted! ?
@"Seeking Perfection" Ok, I'll take your explicit advice. I'll visit a flu ward every day the week of my test so i can achieve greatness! Related question, is being ill sufficient for beating my PT score, or merely necessary? Should i even bother s…
Biggest thing for timing is recognizing inferences upfront and being able to immediately recognize the game type and set it up quickly. This comes from practice. You really can't spend too much time drilling games. Every repetition makes you a littl…
What I've been doing is taking a test at my schools library every saturday at 8:30 and replicating conditions EXACTLY.
I'm talking Ziploc bag, no phone, 6 sections including writing. It's the only thing I can think of to close the gap between PT an…
Dude, I'm experiencing something very similar! I've scaled back to roughly 2 hours of studying 3 days a week, plus a 5 section PT on Saturday. And I've beaten my September score on every one. I cut back to work on applications on off days, and it s…
Yes! They said if you're application was good enough with a 165 they would admit you straightaway, if not they would wait until receiving your December score.
I'm in the same boat as you, sending in my michigan app hopefully tomorrow!
Excited, ter…
I posted a conversation in had with a admissions rep from michigan just a few days ago about this topic. The gist is that yes, they will evaluate you as is, but if you score higher, they will reevaluate your application at that point. I assume most …
Another thing to consider is that no matter how meticulously you replicate test condition, at the end of the day, it's a PT, and you know it. General consensus is that real scores are about 2-3 points below your PT average due to nerves, conditions,…
I definitely agree, postpone until June. June is great because A) you can study for an extra 6 months. you still have the option to postpone or retake is September and stay ahead of the pack for apps.
My advice would be try to set a schedule that …

A big factor to consider is financial aid, by the time your score is released most aid will be gone. So while schools may accept you just as easily as they would've in october, you're probably going to pay more. That said if you crush it, they'll st…
