I did my Top 10 Life Experiences and I think it really helped my app bc it showed a lot of different sides of me that the app did not show!
If its not personal, what top 10 life experiences did you speak of?
I believe this warrants a diversity statement. A diversity statement need not be limited to URM status, but can be used to inform admission officers about unique, and extraordinary circumstances. I think your situation falls under that standard.
Just because you submit a deposit and accept scholarship doesn't mean that you are bound to attend that school. I believe LSAC precisely forbids schools from making deposits and scholarships to be binding, except in the condition of early decision a…

I actually found those passages interesting. I can't say I did them well when I first encountered them but the novelty of the information provided was stimulating. The passage I didnt like was about drilling oil. It wasn't hard but just incredibly b…

How long have you been studying? How intense were you studying? If it was a year+ at 10+ hours a week, then maybe 168 is your peak. But if it was just 6 months and you still have 5+ unused PTs, I'd retake. I took the LSAT 3x a…

Realizw that some law schools including some in t14 require you to submit a new PS when you reapply. I'm not sure what score You had but i do recall it was a decent score. If you left some points on the table, particularly on LG, you should retake a…
Depends on your debt tolerance. Most people say that they underestimated how much a six figure loan impacted their lives. Especially with compound interest, a six figure loan can increase out of control. That being said, i also believe that a good a…

Brooklyn is better than Emory for NYC, it is their home market and you will be there all year so you will form connections during the semesters. Brooklyn isn't the best for biglaw, but could be an option if you kill it there. G…

Although I dont have CF issues of my own, I do recall reading some applications stating that you should disclose incidents that were even expunged from your record. The best course of action is to reach out to the law school. Err on the side of disc…

If you feel uncomfortable with LR, I would drill extensively. Identify which problem types give you the most trouble through the analytics and drill those extensively, making sure to revisit the Core Curriculum to review the basics.
Realize that both schools wouldn't give a big chance at BigLaw. If you don't mind working small law or working in public interest to stay in New York I would go to Brooklyn. How much scholarship money did you get from Brooklyn.
What is your diagnostic? Usually the folks that took several months to hit 170 had a diagnostic of at least the high 150s to low 160s. If your diagnostic is lower, it will take you much longer. What is also important is your score breakdown. If most…
