Untimed Prep Test

Hi everyone. Just wondering if there's a way to take a PT untimed? I was working through my first PT but then had to step away and all the time for the test was lost.

If you step away from a prep test, close the tab. You can come back to the test by clicking "Prep tests" and then clicking the one you were taking. It should say "In Progress" next to it.

At present, there isn’t a way to take a PrepTest with unlimited time. However, you can take drills with unlimited time. So if you want to take a PT untimed, an easy workaround is to make each section into a drill and take them one by one. Here’s how:

1. Go to the 7Sage drill-builder.

2. Select the Advanced Builder. Under “PrepTest Sections to Show” click “All PrepTests 101–158.”

3. the section type you want (LR or RC). Then, scroll to the filter bar and type in the specific PT number and section number.

4. Click “Add all shown” on the upper left. Then, click “Create Drill with ## questions →” on the bottom right.

5. Repeat this for each of the test’s four sections. ​

Also, you can manually pause/stop taking PrepTests or drills by tapping on "Take PrepTest" or "Take Drill" (as applicable) located at the top left of the digital tester.
