Law School

Was wondering if anybody's applying to law schools for the upcoming Fall 2025 Semester, and if they've already taken their LSAT or planning to take it soon? I've applied to take it in February however some people are telling me if I don't score well then it'll become harder and harder to get in. If I don't do so well I'll most likely take it in April as well. Is anybody on the same boat as me? There's so little time and so much stress for me.

hey! while its true the later you wait to apply, it can be harder to get in since they are extra selective with their choices, the best apart about law school and education in general is that it is always there. if you are happy with your feb score, apply and see what happens! a lot of schools have their priority deadline in march, so making sure you have everything ready to go by the time you get your score back end of feb is solid. if you aren't happy with your score and retake in april, you can also apply then and see what happens, if you don't get accepted to a school you were hoping for/any at all you can use your april score and try again right when the portal opens next cycle! you will have everything already ready for you and be in a really great position, hope this helps reassure you.

Hey, I am taking the January exam tomorrow and my score will determine if I apply for this cycle or take a gap year. Primarily because 75% of the schools I am applying to have deadline dates and are not rolling admissions schools. Ena makes a good point, law school isn't going anywhere. So don't be discouraged if you cannot get in right away, take a gap year get some work experience, retake the LSAT and most definitely try again next cycle.
