Update: The new site is live and running on 7sage.com as of 1:30 a.m. ET. The classic site—this one—will stay on classic.7sage.com for the foreseeable future. Thank you for your patience!

Original announcement:

At 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 22, 7Sage will go down for maintenance until about 7:30 a.m. ET on Monday, June 23.

When it comes back:

  • The current site (what you see when you go to 7sage.com) will only be accessible at classic.7sage.com.
  • If you visit 7sage.com, you will end up on a brand new 7Sage. It will be a completely separate site, and you will need to create a new account to use it.

👉 Don’t worry. You won’t lose access to anything! Just remember that, starting on the morning of Monday, June 23 ET, you’ll need to visit classic.7sage.com to keep using the 7Sage you use now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the current site keep working after the transfer?

Yes, everything will keep working exactly as before. The only difference is that you will have to type classic.7sage.com into your browser instead of 7sage.com.

What’s the difference between the old site and the new site?

The new site has a cleaner look and feel, more explanations, better analytics, a ton of new features, and countless small improvements to help you reach your goal score faster. Take a look:

image

Can I try the new site before the Big Switch?

Yes! Just create an account at new.7sage.com. Use the same email address you used for the current site. Once you’re logged in, head on over to the billing page to see if you can transfer your subscriptions to the new site. (Some subscriptions are not eligible for automatic transfer.)

⚠️ Your analytics and data (PrepTests, questions taken, etc.) will NOT transfer to the new site.

Why can’t you transfer my data to the new site?

We rebuilt the new site from scratch, and it's incompatible with the old site.

If I transfer my subscription to the new site, will I still have access to the old site?

Yes! If you transfer your subscription from the old site to the new site on the billing page, you will still have access to the old site until you stop subscribing or until the end of 2025—whichever comes sooner.

Should I switch to the new site?

If you’re just starting out or if you don’t have a lot of analytics on the old site, yes, you should definitely switch to the new site.

If you have a ton of analytics on the old site—say, more than two PrepTests worth, or more than 40 drills—you might want to stick to the current site.

Hi!! I have a group chat mainly hosted here with almost 40 members. Can this be duplicated on the new site? I wouldn't know their new usernames unless they all messaged me. Also, are there any plans to have the email notifications for new messages like it is currently on this site?

@"shaina.kambo" this platform will continue to work! You'll just have to go to classic.7sage.com instead of 7sage.com

@amoreau6057 you'll keep getting what you paid for! You can continue to use the current version of 7Sage with all of your data; you'll just have to navigate to classic.7sage.com.

@missjurisdoc You can keep up your group chat on this site! Again, this platform will keep working; you'll just go to classic.7sage.com instead of 7sage.com

Hi! I tried to sign up using my same email to the new 7sage, but it says that I do not have an account under that email (which is not possible because that is the email I used for 7sage), what can I do to resolve this issue? thanks

Will the new website let you log in and stay logged in without having to use an emailed magic link every time? That's one of the reasons why I stuck to the old website; it's such a pain to have to log in every single time I open the website with no option to use or save a password.

Is there any added benefit in creating an account in the new website and using it compared to continuing to use the current version?

new.7sage.com has improved analytics to help you track your progress more effectively (including basic drill analytics).
    image

new.7sage.com has a cleaner, upgraded interface for a smoother overall experience
    image

new.7sage.com has all of the content of the classic site plus more explanations
    image

new.7sage.com has better content presentation that makes studying easier and more intuitive
    image

new.7sage.com is actually a different website that doesn't talk to the classic website. None of your data from classic site (lessons, questions drilled, PrepTests, etc.) carries over to new.7sage.com

If you transfer your subscription from the classic to the new site, you will still have access to the classic site until the end of 2025 or until you cancel your subscription.

Fully agree with the benefits of the new site, the platform looks super nice and clean, and was definitely a better experience every time I used it! I just still have issues with logging in. I have to open a separate tab every time I want to log in to open my email account and log in through the emailed link. Is there any way to integrate a password or even a passkey system to log in on the website itself? I'm just not going to be connecting any 3rd party accounts to login (I saw Google and X), so I'm left with magic link login as my only option.

@PriYanksya Yeah, I hear you! We're working on keeping you logged in longer. I expect that change to come through before the end of the week. Once that ships, you'll stay logged in.

    Hi there!

It sounds like you tried logging into the new 7Sage site using your email, but got a message saying there's no account under that email.

That’s expected, accounts from the classic site don’t automatically carry over to the new site. You’ll just need to create a new account on the new site using the same email you use for your classic 7Sage account.

    You can register here: https://new.7sage.com/users/register

Let us know if you run into any issues!

    Hi @annabelle.klein10

Right now, there’s no mobile app available for the new 7Sage platform.

That said, we do plan to build an app in the future, so it’s definitely on our radar. In the meantime, the site is mobile-friendly and works well in a mobile browser!

    I hope this helps!

As a developer, man that is a dumb plan

Basically you have to remember which questions you've done & exclude them for drills on the new site.

I noticed on the new site y'all are now charging $1 a month for the fee waiver program rather than your usual $1 a year. How will this affect current fee waiver users if they were to switch to the new site?

  • J.Y. PingJ.Y. Ping Administrator Instructor
    14517 karma

@rj1761861 @1morgandee I think in both your cases, I would not recommend switch to the new site. The new site would give you a fresh account and the fee waiver pricing on the new site is $1/month.

You can keep using the current site as is. We're not changing anything here except the url.

I saw J.Y. How should I transfer my subscription if I don't have that functionality yet?

Will there be an option to manually add PrepTest scores and lesson progress? It feels like an oversight to make the new site completely incompatible with the old, given that you are advertising the improvements as significant for performance.

  • David BusisDavid Busis Member Moderator
    7542 karma

@jaelynmstaiano it's up to you, but I would recommend switching to the new site if you don't have any analytics on the old site. It's easy to check off your progress in the new curriculum, and the lesson content (other than the first module on the new site) is the same.

@"castro.a.rene" Thank you. We'll fix that.

@jslavny13 Yes, you can manually import your PT results here:
    https://new.7sage.com/users/settings/practice/import/manual

You can also manually import your lesson progress by checking off the completed lessons on the new site.

Has anyone found a way to manually enter drill questions on the new site? I see the option for manually entering prep tests, but for drill purposes, I'd like to add in specific questions done rather than have each test submitted as a whole. That would mess with the analytics a lot since it'd be submitted undone questions as incorrect.

I am trying to switch my subscription to the new account so I can start working on there; however, after I selected the transfer, the new site still has me under the free plan. When will I be able to access the new website with my subscription?

  • Agnes - Student ServiceAgnes - Student Service Member Moderator
    423 karma

    @PriYanksya Hi there,

While there isn’t a way to manually enter drill questions like you can with PrepTests, there’s a helpful workaround.

You can re-create the drill by using Unlimited Time Mode and selecting the option to manually pick your questions. That way, you can choose the exact ones you worked on without submitting a full PrepTest and affecting your analytics with unanswered questions.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

I'm a little unsure on what to do. I'm taking either the August/September LSAT. I would love to use the new site and features, but I do have some analytics on the current site. I have taken 3 PT, various Sections, and various drills. Under existing entries in drills there are 47 entries. Is there any other data that I could provide to help guide whether or not I should make the switch to the new site?

Is there a possibility to manually enter scores for sections on the new site? That way I can at least retain some more information besides just the practice tests I've taken. It's very frustrating to not be able to transfer any of my information into the new site. Thanks

Hi! If we switch our subscription to the new site, will this impact LawHub Advantage purchases?
Also, if I'm 40% of the way through the Foundations module would it make sense to switch at this stage? Thanks!

"more than two PrepTests worth, or more than 40 drills—you might want to stick to the current site"

I can imagine this is a pretty common case! I have many PTs and far over 40 drills worth of data. It seems unreasonable that I will not be able to take advantage of this data and the updated site at the same time....

    Hi @emmakyoung28,

While your lesson progress and drill/PT analytics don’t transfer automatically to the new site, you can manually enter your PrepTest scores here: https://new.7sage.com/users/settings/practice/import/manual

For drills and sections, we recommend using Unlimited Time Mode and selecting questions manually to recreate your past practice.

    https://i.imgur.com/KaW0ssl.jpeg

If manually transferring your data feels like too much at this stage, no problem at all—you’re totally welcome to continue using the classic site.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

  • sanique.rowesanique.rowe Member Student Services

    Hi @aprapra18,

    Great questions!

Switching to the new site does not impact your LawHub Advantage access—you’ll still have to connect your existing LawHub Advantage subscription to access the licensed materials on the new site as you have on the classic site.

If you're 40% through the Foundations module, it’s totally fine to stick with the classic site to maintain your momentum. That said, it's easy to check off your progress in the new curriculum, and the lesson content (other than the first module on the new site) is the same.

Why does it cost me $16.78 to transfer to the new site when you're not transfering my actual data??? I'm already paying for your subscription.

  • sanique.rowesanique.rowe Member Student Services
    268 karma

    Hi @suzanne.pranger1,

Totally understand your concern. If you’ve completed multiple PTs and over 40 drills, we generally recommend staying with the classic site so you can continue building on that valuable data. We’re continuing to support both platforms through the transition, and your input is exactly what helps us shape future improvements.

That said, if you wish to use the new site, though it may be a bit time consuming, you can carry over your progress by manually entering your PrepTest scores here: https://new.7sage.com/users/settings/practice/import/manual

And for drills and sections, we recommend using Unlimited Time Mode and selecting questions manually to recreate your past practice.

I hope this helps! Please feel free to write back if you have any questions.

  • sanique.rowesanique.rowe Member Student Services
    268 karma

    Hi @Kimmi136,

You're right—classic.7sage.com and new.7sage.com are completely separate sites. If you choose to stick with the current (classic) version, you don’t need to take any action at all. Just keep logging in here. Just a reminder that this site will become classic.7sage.com instead of 7sage.com on June 22.

I hope this clears things up. Please feel free to write back if you have any further questions.
