Thanks for compiling this David and team! I believe one of the disclosures includes employment stats such as what number of students from a given school went on to work at a firm of 500+ employees, work in gov't (and what level), etc. I don't see th…
Someone I've been messaging with since this AMA thought part of our conversation would be helpful to others. Here is that segment:
I think I took a week off every 6-8 weeks. It's difficult to pull yourself away but when you're thinking long-term li…
@akistotle Who is the audience for that podcast? Is it schools or applicants? Because it would seem applications standing at flat, a major decline from last month, is preferable for applicants. No?
I meditated 10 minutes every day before studying/PTing and imagined things going wrong but more importantly, I imagined myself responding as I had practiced. This visualization helped me reinforce the good habits I was trying to engrain. I think it …
@"Testing......"
thank you for doing this! I wonder whether you have some advice for people who have almost exhausted their PTs (I have done PT1-80+ 82). Do you do some individual Q type drill from earlier sections or do more timed sections?
T…
@SuhCrates thank you. I did schedule vacations every so often though and also the 10-day-PT-cycle was a general guideline that I would deviate from if an area demanded more attention. PTs should be a gauge of progress and are not actually studying t…
Hi @SuhCrates
1) I didn't share the whole calendar because I was too lazy to go through it and anonymize it : ). I was PTing before 7Sage but I was doing it all wrong so I don't really count that time. I started PTing under the 7Sage approach in Ma…
@katherinaturban
@NotMyName did you use any other resources besides 7sage for LG?
I was averaging -12 per LG section when I started with 7Sage and from that point I only used 7Sage.
@akistotle lol I know. LG was a tough nut to crack. 2-4 sections 6 days a week for a long time. I saw a big jump when I started emphasizing pattern recognition in LG.
I’m really excited for this. Thank you to JY and team for inviting me. I remember…
@TrustingGod I got unsolicited waiver from nyu and a need based waiver from penn. Nothing from Columbia.
@"Leah M B" I don’t think there’s any harm in sending a follow up as you say since I’m sure you would hit the write tone (pun). There’s a good…
@BinghamtonDave Wow! I laughed out loud pretty hard when he revealed it. Reminds me of a paradox question type.
@savitasinghsv265 I think you may have shared the wrong link?
@Gunningfor121 I don't think they warrant TOO much attention. They are still extremely rare and once you learn that you can draw it as a single layer sequencing, they become much simpler.
I shouldn't have called it a PT since it was an actual exam.
When an exam is disclosed, it's released to the public for our use (practice). But sometimes an exam is not released (undisclosed) and test takers receive only their score without a copy …
A strong reference will help your application but I can’t say anything beyond that... just not familiar w the Canadian system or this school. If they say it’s optional, then I would take it at face value. If you have a professor willing to write you…

I have not faced a similar situation, but I have read in the "Certifying Statement" that they say you should update the school if anything changes for you professionally. I'm sure you could email an updated résumé to each s…

I think the useful data point to the original question has been answered: Q: Do any schools pay your CAS fee, A: Yes. For that data point, thanks to the OP and the others who have confirmed this.
I fear that this threa…
Keep a binder of any LR question that gave you difficulty and flip through some of it every day. This was part of my cookie-cutter review. It will help you get familiar w identifying structure in Lr stimuli.
Of course it’s just our opinion. We know 2-3 schools do this and have anecdotal support (pro and con) for the general opinion of adcoms with regard to to a prospective student asking. 98% of the schools you asked rejected you and we don’t know how t…

update for everyone:
y'all was wrong. I axed many of the schools that were sending me solicitations that I did not plan on applying to. Most said no, but one said yes. Schools do in fact offer CAS reporting fee waivers, …
Have you seen this week’s podcast where Sages share the tips you’re speaking about? I’m on my phone so can’t paste here but it’s at the top of the forum.
You'll have to time yourself, maybe even record yourself, and get a sense for your own approach. Here's mine:
3.5 minutes to read the passage. (14 minutes)
45 seconds per question. (20.25 minutes)
Total (34.25)
I think this is a pretty balanced …
