I think it helps - at the very least with all the intense thinking we do, it's like turning off the computer to give it a break.
JY has a nice link in the course (i think it's toward the end). I've also heard good things about the apps "calm" and…
Hey Sheri,
I would. My understanding is that schools often get the score before you do if you submit via LSAC and use the tool to indicate a score is coming. If you have specific questions or trouble navigating contact me.
meditate beforehand - @"J.Y. Ping" included a meditation recording in the course.
Get adequate sleep
If you find yourself daydreaming remind yourself "am I giving it my all?
If you're not normally used to getting up at 6 or 7 make it a practice EVERY Day for up 2 months prior to test day so your body makes it a habit.
No blue light before bed. Read a book instead.
You are far more likely to have the poorly made 180 watch break on you than have the dial pop out of your Casio.
In fact you can buy 2 casios at full price (for a back up) and still pay less than a $50 180 watch.
And the rotating bezel is just a…
I'll tell you what worked for me (this is for me, you may have different needs/preferences).
There were some differences on how I felt about passages content-wise, but it wasn't that big a deal. So then it came down to getting more questions answe…
I've tried both and I've concluded: Fuck yeah I read the question stem before the argument!
1) You want to know question types, so you should immediately be able to say "oh this is a ____ question, so I need to do the strategy for a _____ question.…
Hmmm.. You could write a brief addendum and maybe get it documented via lsac and the proctor document it.... BUT given your concerns, you could always just have the absence.
I have an absence in addition to my 3 exams. I wrote addenda for other t…
@sarahfatima28 I strongly agree with @josephellengar
Please see my post on why the 180 Watch isn't worth it and why Casio is the way to go:

I think the Trainer is a great supplement for Reading Comp - definitely do the Trainer lesson on Reading Comp Question types as well as structure vs. content
A big factor for me is that June is in the afternoon and I'm not a morning person - AND it allowed me to get my applications in early for rolling admissions (rather than tail end with Feb).
Hey @shaydamilani If you haven't already, get a copy of The LSAT Trainer - he gives great stuff on reading for Structure vs Content. He also categorizes Question types which is HUGE and underestimated. Know Question types the way you would know LR …
Like @nicole.hopkins says, you can pull out up until EASTERN TIME midnight - let me emphasize EST time zone because they are bastards about it.
But if you're not near your target score, you will be so much better off waiting a cycle. May?june is af…
I considered Velocity but can't speak too much about it without having taken the course. I took testmasters and wasn't crazy about. But 7sage is amazing for LG and LR. You may want to supplement the LSAT Trainer book for RC.
I took it last december and didnt' do as well as I could have. I waited a cycle which is huge for me because I'm older. BUT it gave me more time to study, allowed me to take the test in the afternoon - which really helped since I'm not a morning pe…
Thank you all for your kind words - I'm very fortunate. I hope you all keep putting one foot in front of the other - the path can have ups and downs but good things can happen.
@1LFall16Bound I think you're right to wait. I waited over 9 years too - 1 more won't hurt.
My GF thought I should take it too - she meant well and so did others but it wasn't there field so I didn't hold it against them. Go with your informed gu…
Thanks for your service - I'll PM you. I will say the advantage to June is it's in the afternoon which is great if you're not a morning person like me. Otherwise September gives you more time if your PTs are not where you want them to be.
As @nicole.hopkins says it's not practical with sound. BUT that video is invaluable - look at how he reads, how he guides his reading with his pencil. These seem like tiny things, but he is very focused and efficient. J.Y. may not even realize but y…
if you qualify for extended time, there is a good chance you'll be taking the exam by yourself or at most wirth a couple others. So distractions from other test takers are unlikely.
There are, of course, other potential distractions ie building mai…
I get why people worry about retakes.
1) take them with a grain of salt. They still are good for practice and I'm sure there are questions you still haven't mastered in BR
2) Maybe lessen the time a but ie 32 min a section or something like that …
thanks @megsvyas
@lschoolgo Honest Answer: I used two of the other major and well regarded courses and books. BUT 7Sage is what made a difference.
The 7Sage Memory Method was key to my improvement on Logic Games.
Buying the 7sage course helped…
thanks @jyang72 - what a kind thing to say - I'm touched.
Let me answer your questions @lschoolgo
I'm not sure what the factors were that contributed to lower scores in my first two tests. There were outside personal factors. At the same time, I …
I'm huge on BR but rarely made a clean copy of the whole test - perhaps just that problem if you really want to.
Or if it's of a Game, I think a clean copy is worth it.
