I don’t think it matters. Schools can see your transcript and they do look through your courseload for the rigor/breadth/depth of the classes you took. I doubt the school will add a minor to your degree, to get a minor you need to sign up for it bef…
Yeah it’s a huge mistake not to follow directions. You have to cut it. My PS went from 3 pages to 500 words last year for UCI. You can do it. Being median for a school doesn’t mean you can be arrogant and ignore the prompt, you’re not a shoe-in.
Just be straight forward and don’t make excuses or go too much in detail about the event itself. Focus on remorse/understanding what you did was wrong/I’m doing better now.
ie for a DUI one wouldn’t write...my friends bought me too many drinks and …
I think the first could be a fantastic diversity statement and the second can be your personal statement! Just try free writing both and see what you end up with. They’re both great ideas and will be impactful.
I don’t even know what type of font or size my resume was, I was just trying to shrink it to a page and make it look pretty. I don’t think it matters for your resume since it’s an entirely diff format than an essay. For your PS and additional essays…

Here are two examples of prompts that seem more purpose-focused:

If you’re interested in living in X, Y or Z state, then apply to schools that place there or are in the region. You’ll probably end up with only one of those states as an option so choose wisely. T20s tend to be regional but some place well in other…
I didn’t know that it’s common sense knowledge that exercise leads to arthritis.
I think anything that you wouldn’t have learned by high school is not common sense knowledge. Just basics like the earth is round, gravity is constant, birds aren’t m…
Nice post!!
Personally I jumped from PT 37 to PT 50 and then realized the newer tests were different and tried to stick to PT 60 and up. I think a lot of people don’t have time to go through every single test so instead of having a gradual integra…
Damn did you get into both already?
UVA probably better for NYC biglaw and it’s a cheaper COA. If your goal more generally is just biglaw...any t13 will get you there.

Not make anyone waiting for your LSAT score feel worse, but I hate waiting for admissions decisions a whole lot more than I ever did waiting for my LSAT score. I did not think it was possible, but it is
Seriously can any…
I felt good about my test but was also worried that I misbubbled since I did catch one q in my first section that I misbubbled. Ended up getting a couple points higher than my average. I’ve felt good about PTs before and bombed so I don’t think I ha…
I don’t think anyone slept well before the exam I wouldn’t worry about it. If you do decide to retake maybe try to find a sleeping pill that works for you. I took like 1/3 of this sleeping pill that I take when I travel before the test so I wouldn’t…
If you remember the county it occurred in, just google ie Los Angeles County Superior Court traffic case search. Most court websites allow you to search your name for $1. If it doesn’t work out you can just write around XYZ years ago I was cited for…

@oshun1 I like the timer idea. Thanks for sharing!
I think it’s called the pomodoro method if you want to look into it further.
Also something else that works is just putting your phone on do not disturb and watching…
I’m pretty sure one of the 7sage sages had the flu during their lsat and was coughing and wanted to cancel and ended up getting like a 174. If you’d be happy to score near your PT average on the lsat then I would go for it. If your PT score isn’t wh…
Honestly if someone was considering applying to t14 with a 161 then they aren’t dead set on going to a t14. If you were dead set on it then you would know your PT average needs to be much higher and you shouldn’t just take the lsat on a whim.
Even for non-accommodated tests I don’t think the exact location of the exam is sent out until a couple days before. It stressed me out the first time I took the lsat since it didn’t give me the opportunity to check out the room the test was going t…
The last PT I took before the actual LSAT was one of my lowest scores. I didn’t review that test, just drilled random LR and RC and LG before the lsat. I took the real LSAT a few days after that bombed PT and ultimately I scored a couple points high…

Stop hating on Georgetown!!! Lol it’s ranked 14th. You want better, go to 1-13. It’s not ranked 3rd and being outperformed by school ranked 10th. It’s ranked 14th and being outperformed by schools ranked higher. It doesn’t …

I think georgetown is a great school, but you'll need to be in the top 5-10% of the class to get what the 50% of the class gets at HYS, or CCN. This unique circumstance is because GULC accepts so many students(with only har…
The perfect score watch is allowed though. There was a poster of permitted items at my test center this July and there was a picture of the perfect score watch.
I put my phone on airplane mode. I used to try to study for hours straight but toward the end I was burning out and just set a timer on my phone for 90 min and I would take a quick break and then reset the timer.
