Out of curiosity, how do law schools look at applicants that have taken the LSAT 4 times in 3 years? Do they see that as persistence/hard work and continue to look at the highest score, or do they average it out and think you're crazy?
@patricia.martin.robles I'm currently based in Turkey. With my study buddy, we shared our PT schedule for the coming weeks via e-mail,and then every weekend I think we'd spend about 1-3 hours BRing the PT we had taken that week. I deliberately made …
Actually, this is what I read today: The LSAC is reporting that "As of 01/22/16, there are 174,013 2016 applications submitted by 27,183 applicants for the 2016–2017 academic year. Applicants are up 2.4% and applications are up 0.5% from 2015–2016. …
Unrelated to theories, but an interesting article nonetheless: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/12/opinion/making-a-murderer-is-about-justice-not-truth.html?_r=0

While I can't say for sure whether Avery is actually innocent or not (I tend to think he is innocent as I agree with much of what Strang and Buting's investigator said about Avery not being intelligent enough to pull this off with s…
@Pacifico I just started watching How to Get Away with Murder today. My high school friend plays the character Khan lol...I don't like the show that much though; it's a bit soap opera-y. Much prefer Damages and Better Call Saul...
Hey guys, I noticed this post is nearly a year old. For those of who you took the 7sage law school prep course ( @"Nilesh S" @Marie4lawschool), did it end up being helpful for 1L? It doesn't seem like it's possible to enroll for this course anymore,…
I live abroad too, so I empathize with you, @patricia.martin.robles
I suggest trying to find a study buddy to Skype with from within the 7sage community. That's what I did and I found it to be really motivating and helpful. The BR groups @nanchito …
@nicole.hopkins I'm ending up paying around $1200 applying to 19 schools, despite waivers from most T14. The $30 CAS fee for each school plus the schools that didn't give me a waiver and charge $70-85 each...The CAS fees alone are $570, so it adds u…
@Pacifico where do you want to go?
@focaliant It seems to me that it's less about original content and more about the privileged being able to afford hiring someone to edit/perfect their essay, while most applicants cannot. At least that was my im…
@simon_wood Tests outside of the US are undisclosed and are totally different from the ones test-takers in the US get. I took the LSAT the first time in Germany and when PT 72 was released, not a single question I could remember was the same as what…
In my experience, I'd be fairly careful. I was prescribed Adderall for my ADD a little over a year ago and I took it for the December '14 LSAT. Adderall helped me *immensely* to stay focused while I was studying in the months leading up to the test.…
@Pacifico and @harrismegan, thanks for the advice. @harrismegan I totally sympathize with you; I'm in the exact same boat as you concerning the December test. But this time we'll do awesome
I don't mean to be a downer, but does anyone have any strategy tips for a brutal LG section (in case that's what we face this weekend)? I'm at a point where I'm averaging -1 or 0 per LG section, but I have a nightmare scenario where I face a brutal …
@InsertPseudonymHere From what I remember, in one of his videos JY explicitly says it's a really bad idea to read the question stems before reading the passage. It's a big time sink because you end up reading the questions before and after reading t…
Thanks a lot for the candid advice, guys.
@c.janson35 I'll do that in my next PTs and drilling RC sections. I haven't done much of that before, so hopefully that'll help me reduce the number of mistakes I make per section. I'll feel so much bette…
Along the same lines, I started the application process last year and never submitted my app because I decided to postpone and retake the LSAT this year. Do you guys still think it's ok to use the same LORs? As is the case for the original poster, n…
@Caroleena lol it's ok, I think a lot of people are in the same boat. With a social sciences/humanities background, I struggle the most with the law and science passages for RC. I don't think the fact that you're struggling with the law passages sho…
I'm taking my last PT Sept 26th and then just drilling, reviewing, and practicing LG games the last week. As many people have said before, I personally don't think it's a good idea to take an entire timed PT the last week (sections are fine, I think…
@DumbHollywoodActor no, I def didn't mean to say that people who have studied hard until they've become burnt out are lazy; as you said, they're not. I was trying to say that if you keep taking breaks because you're burnt out, that might turn into p…
@nicole.hopkins and @harrismegan:
I'm skeptical as to whether this really is the best advice. Surely taking a break can be immensely beneficial when you're burnt out. But when does burnout turn into just laziness? I mean, except for a few people, I…
Question. What should you do if you've already taken break(s) and you still feel burnt out? I took my breaks and went back to studying and I'm making improvements (my BR and PT score is going up or staying consistent), but I'm still burn out. I'm st…
