@louis2014
I rarely, rarely skipped a game halfway through. It hurts confidence and I have this bad habit of dwelling on skipped questions. I would however spend 30 secs and determine if the game is worth skipping from the start. You will see s…
I feel panicky - It sounds like outline is important but what do you mean by outline? Is there a sample I can take a look at? I have never outlined in my student career.
From my personal experience - I took a whole week off, doing nothing LSAT. I came back and scored much higher. You need a break to let some stuff to sink in... So take a break and get some rest.
I think you need to set a target for G1 and G2. I am usually -0 on games and here is my breakdown:
G1: 4 min
G2: 6 min
G3: depends
G4: 10 min
But I often have 4 minutes left to check my work (4-5 questions) so you can add 1-2 minutes to each game.…
do you think it's a time management issue? sounds like if you did G4 before G3, you would have just missed 4 questions? but old test is rarely an indicator though, as you said there were 24 Qs.
i found that G3 is always the odd ball. try to sk…
Two solutions to freezing: 1. Be confident or trick yourself into believing that you are truly great at games; 2. Save time on easy games - spend 3-4 min on game 1 and 5-6 min on game 2. If you have 12 minutes for a game, you can brute force throug…
@1LBound! Thanks for getting back to us! This is the exact impression I got from last year law school forum. I think I will stick with my 4-page biography...
I don't know if anyone recall a HLS recommended reading list for JD students - I saw it somewhere before but cannot find it now (Maybe it's not that good?).
@"Nilesh S" I've listened to S&S before! I love audiobooks and that's how I get most of…
@Pacifico
This is brilliant. I am also looking for 0L readings. Have you guys come across anything good?
@CUNY_2017
Logic games were not my strong suit to begin with (even though I'm a physics major) but I got better after tons of practices. Af…
How long are your PS's? My word count is 1,350. Is that too long?
@Pacifico Let me know if that baby visit works... I am bringing my son to the city. lol
Thank you for posting this. I am in! Here is one thing that has been on my mind all this time: I cannot, will not, shall not, (am unable to) pull an all-nighter in law school. Will I survive? (I cringe at hearing friends at HLS sleeping only fou…
@pritisharma
I totally understand how you feel - whenever I think of applying to law schools I always have this feeling of running against the clock. I did not have the time to study for LSAT last year but I did not want to lose a year so I took t…
@pritisharma
I wonder if we should start a group for non-traditionals. Thanks to the Internet, I could get a general feeling of what my fellow young 1Ls are like... I feel that there is an overflow of intellectual arrogance (typical of the younge…
@1LBound! I have 10+ years of experience. I have decided to go through my years in my PS. Yes, it might be boring, but I feel like I need to convince adcom that law school has always been my aspiration. (Columbia told me that I needed to convince…
I think I have heard something along these lines too but I forgot. Thank you so much for bringing this up. I won't even bother with a LSAT addendum now.
This community is awesome!

@Pacifico Thank you! I won't be attending those other t14 schools so I am not planning to apply. This is not due to arrogance but my family situation (I have a preschooler at home so I want to attend a school close by). I was on a full merit schol…
@cverdugo Thank you so much for your input. You've made excellent points. Yes, I was going through a stressful lawsuit which was finally settled in Oct 2015. So you don't think I need to mention it in the addendum? Thanks again!
I did not make …
i attended the law school forum in new york city back in november last year and asked the reps from those schools in person. but hey just apply if you really want to go to a particular school!
