From my experience, the LSAT changes greatly from the early PTs to the most recent, particularly in LR wording and RC. PTs 15-23 or 23-31 are helpful for drilling, but would most likely not be representative of the March LSAT.
Are those the only fr…
As other have said, you should call the admission offices of your target schools to ask. From my research and from hearing the opinion of others, including admissions consultants, canceling a score isn't a big deal as long as you don't do it too man…
@cqas190517 I am also using the GI Bill, are you not using the Post 9-11? From what I understand, the Post 9-11 has no limit as long as you attend a public university, otherwise it caps out at around $21k per year. Did you use some of your GI Bill a…
I took January as a trial run for March, June, and July. Hopefully I can stop after January, but I’m prepared to take the test 4 times if need be (Jan,March,June,July). I want to be done before the digital switch and apply as early as possible. I kn…
I also had distractions. During my test two cell phones went off for roughly 45 seconds each, the first during section 1 and the second during section 3. The ringer wasn't a normal sound either, it was some terrible pop song lol. Also, someone sitti…
I hate waiting, but I just continue to study as normal, hopefully I won’t have to re-take but I took this exam not being 100% ready so I’m not expecting anything special. I took January as a test run for March, June, and July if need be.
Here is a tip for saving time: I found that doing the local questions first (ex: If B is earlier than R, what could be false?) helps save time and sometimes eliminates the need to make another game board for global questions (questions with no added…
@pauls95 Thanks for the advice! I'm still thinking of taking January. Honestly, a lot of my score issues may stem from the fact that I am still not consistent on a strategy for LR. I have used a skipping strategy and used the "Thinking LSAT Podcast …
@LSAT_Wrecker Wow, that's unfortunate. Thanks for giving us the heads up! How irresponsible of the schools to assume that. Hopefully you can convince them to reconsider in light of their mistaken assumption.
@keets993 I see, I will keep testing and see where I am at 2 weeks out from January. Thanks for offering your point of view. Nearly everyone I interact with is pressuring me to just take the test in the hopes that I will get "lucky" and score really…
@keets993 Thanks for the advice! I will admit, I don't do BR to the best of my ability. I usually BR 3 of the 4 sections the same day I test. After thinking more about it, I may postpone. I agree with your idea on test anxiety, I plan on taking the …
@"Michaela.Pratt1" I know the nerves of test day will always be present, I currently try to replicate test day on my PTs as much as I can. I understand that schools may see taking the test multiple times as a red flag, I suppose I will have to see h…
@"Beast Mode" Thanks for the practical advice, I don't currently do all of your recommendations but will try to begin incorporating them as I continue. Positivity is key, I may begin to take some time off every week as a "reward" I see that I could …
@Guri_LSAT That's a good idea, I have not heard of any universities in my area that offer practice test, but I will certainly look into it. Although it's probable that I will score low, I don't think I will be disappointed to the degree that it prev…
