Thank you for voting! And yes, a good reminder that as annoying as the LSAT is, the skills we're learning are definitely going to make us more critical readers
Wait for your flex score then make a decision. If you get rejected you are done for the cycle (besides contesting the decision but I think it's extremely rare that a school would change a decision).
I have not worked with a tutor either but I was studying for the LSAT at around the same time as @lexxx745 and I saw his breakdown and analysis comment on basically every explanation video I reviewed. He's definitely done a deep dive into basically …
It's worth it to read the first passage and then jump into questions. You can easily eliminate answers when going through the questions just by knowing they are not relevant to passage A. If you read both passages then tackle the questions, you migh…
Yeah and to add
1) We don't know there will be more overall applicants. We know applications are up earlier in the cycle compared to the same time last year - could just be people submitting their apps sooner because had more time to work on them b…
If you want to send apps Fall 2021 I think you should definitely aim to take it in late spring or early summer to give yourself the opportunity to retake in case things don't go as expected the first go around! It helps to map out a long term schedu…
Different things work for different people! A routine leading up to the exam helps some people, being more laidback helps others. Sometimes whether you slightly underperform or slightly overperform on a test depends on how you are feeling that day. …
We can't say for sure that apps for the total cycle are up significantly, they just seem to be front-loaded for now in that a lot of people have submitted early. I would defer a year if I were you because 155 is going to make admissions and scholars…
No I think it should be fine. For the job with hours fluctuating, I would definitely recommend putting some kind of average estimate because it can add useful context to your application.
I think guaranteed full-ride at Berkeley (great school) is better than a crumb of a chance at Harvard, which is what reapplying with no new LSAT score would be. If your application isn't going to be much different from last year, I'm not sure why th…
I would recommend mentioning that your mother experienced addiction before that "however" sentence. It's not clear who has addiction until the final sentence, so a little confusing. Would read a lot smoother with that context before
Hm I think re-evaluate what you are trying to say. It sounds like you want to talk about a more minor addiction becoming more serious/full-fledged. I would focus on the size/seriousness of the addiction rather than "slow entrance." Someone could slo…
Have you followed up at all? Have you sent him resume, personal statement, etc to guide the LOR process? If you've done all of these things and he's still ignoring you, I would just go with someone else. At that point he may not be super enthusiasti…
They really don't like to be updated over minor errors in essays. If the word missing makes your essay unreadable, I guess it makes sense to send in an update. If they can understand what your essay is getting at with the typo, I would not email the…
No. What would you even put in an addendum? The Logic Games were hard?
I'm sorry your score dipped, but congrats on the August and good luck on your apps!
You can add it in the resume itself! Like from this time to this time, had care giving duties. Berkeley specifically asks about care giving on their resume but I don't think any other school would have an issue with adding it to the resume
If by colleague you mean non-manager, you should leave these LORs out. I have heard from admissions deans that this is akin to having a friend write you a LOR. If the employee wasn't your supervisor, just go with 2 prof LORs only.
I didn't list GPA at all on my resume and a lot of admissions deans at webinars have said there is no need to list a GPA on the resume. If you're going to list it, probably do LSAC GPA because that's really the one that the law school is going to "c…
Hey some regression is normal, although I can understand why you would be alarmed with a test date coming up.
Focus on critically examining why your LR scores are dropping significantly. Are you rushing through the sections now and weren't before? …
Yes they do see the date of the recommendation!
However, I recommend getting them now while you are still fresh in your recommender's mind. Some schools (YLS) say they don't care if a LOR is a year or two old, and in fact recommend getting your LOR…
Congrats! I would recommend 2 PTs a week if you have the time/stamina to do that. And continuing to do a really thorough BR of each PT. You have really good starting PT scores and I definitely think you could score mid-high 170s on the real test. Ke…
Taking one test would be fine. I would also say don't worry about "burning" through PTs. If you are mindful in the future and cap your weekly PTs at 2 a week (which I think everyone should), it would be really hard to burn through all of them.
