Yes absolutely. Learning weirder games helps you with easier and more normal games. I didn’t think 30-50 had too many strange games, but pre-30 definitely did. I think 30-50 actually had more straightforward games than you would see in 70-80. If you…
I didn't have any issues highlighting on Flex. However, if you're used to reading without the highlight feature, then no need to start using it now. I always used the highlight feature on PTs because it helps me to stay engaged with the text, and di…
Be aggressive in trying to understand what you got wrong. If I missed an LR question even after BR, I wouldn’t rely on just JY’s explanation. I’d watch his explanation, read the comments section, look up PowerScore and ManhattanPrep’s explanations.

Oni is spot on. Why would you need to charge 45-75$ to preview a score? The LSAC is a greedy organization that cares more about its bottom line than about the process it is supposed to facilitate. It is a shame they have law st…
^Keep in mind that if you have a nightmare scenario with a proctor, LSAC should offer you a free re-take the way they have done for many people in that situation. I think this option is more for people who just feel uncertain about taking the test b…
@cinnamonrolls They can't see what you are writing based on webcam angle, nor do they really care. You show them yourself ripping up your scratch paper at the end of the exam, with the presumption that you will then throw away that paper. I think th…

It’s not just for August, it’s for August and future administrations. It seems like this isn’t limited to flex tests either. Just another way for LSAC to squeeze money out of ca…
I’m sorry to hear that you’re impacted by this stupid situation But you should definitely contact LSAC about this, it’s an unprecedented situation that they will be able to answer better than anyone on here
This is super basic but - do you think you are getting enough sleep every night? Undersleeping by even an hour every night can have a large detrimental effect on cognitive ability.
I’d also recommend devoting time to reading for fun every day if yo…
Do you mean cancel before you take it or cancel after you take it? I wouldn't recommend cancelling after you take it unless you know you really messed something up (like not having time to get to a game or passage). Lots of people come away from the…
Spend more time on your BR! Spend time foolproofing the games on the PTs as well as other games in drills.
Also, if I were you, I would choose one PT a week with an extremely thorough BR instead of 2 PTs a week with what I'm guessing is a less thor…
I never used an experimental. But I read on here that someone included their experimental as the first section because it can help you adjust to test fatigue for the "real" PT. The issue with using an experimental on PTs is you will know it doesn't …
What differences did you see from 2012 - 2019 PTs? I've done basically all of those PTs and didn't really feel like there were differences
I would just recommend drilling a wide variety of games (including very old strange misc ones) if you have th…
I would say just don't let it get to your head. Keep doing thorough BRs and learn from your mistakes, but don't fixate on the actual PT scores. I took a PT a few days before my exam and scored lower than my average. I didn't let it get to me, and en…
@ciacduan I don’t notice large variation between PTs in terms of LR. I do sometimes come away from a PT thinking the RC or LG was extra hard or extra easy, but never really the LR. Sorry I can’t be more helpful! Also thanks!
I wouldn't suggest retaking just on the basis of the score, but because you said you know you messed up the LG and lost the points there when you know you can get -0.
It also depends on what else you have going on in your life. Do you work full tim…
@kemu8460 I don't think there is any functional difference. Maybe getting the coupon means you can let it sit in your LSAC account for a while and choose the date later, and switching the date means you need to pick the new test date now. But you ca…
I don't see how you can do a PT a day, thoroughly BR, and not burn out. Maybe you can reuse the 36-89 PTs that you took a while back (as opposed to 2 weeks before the test) and spend more time on the BR. I have retaken games and RC sections from PTs…
First off, congrats!! A 170 is amazing. I would probably stick to taking PTs. I think the core curriculum is more geared towards people with less understanding of the LSAT.
How many PTs did you take before June?
A month is not a long time in terms of LSAT prep. You will definitely see large improvements in logic games in no time if you start drilling games over and over until you can crank out inferences like it's second nature.
