I don't know why they use the median when they list their LSAT and GPA. So misleading.
They should put their 50th percentile LSAT and GPA. I mean they already put up 25th and 75th percentiles scores anyway.

I was thinking of buying the Trainer to do this. How much more does the Trainer add to your understanding of the concepts, would you say?
For me, minimally. It is a well-written book though and JY…

Well at most elite universities grade inflation is rampant. The one school OP mentioned (Princeton) is the notable exception. I don't think accounting for majors or school is the right way to go about it. Both would need to b…

From what I’ve seen, very little. Your GPA is the main thing they are concerned about. It might be a soft factor if you went to an Ivy or something. But generally, they just want to see good grades and I think they do take in…

Hey guys, I'm thinking of purchasing the LSAT Trainer for additional tips and practice, because online reviews rave about the book.
For those of you with the book, is it a good purchase? Is it worth it to work through it?

First of all, please do not use Powerscore methodologies for LG. It's by far the worst I've come across and I've seen it all. You've got 7Sag…

I based on the LSAT Analytics tool, it is pretty clear to me that there are more difficult questions in the second LR section. Like I'll go -4 on the first section and -7 on the section.

Just make sure your PT with them at least twice with the same meal/break snack timing.
Okay, sounds good. Actually I don't even know if I should even take them. Caffeine literally does nothing for me anymore, haha.

@tekken1225 I believe it was a -16 for a 170. PT 23, I think it was. The only more recent exam that I am aware of that comes close to that is -14 for PT 71 and -14 for PT 65.

@BinghamtonDave, thanks for the info.
Just on a side note, do you know what was the record for the most generous curve out of all the preptests published so far?
Yeah, I saw that the other day when randomly looking at law school class profiles, and was curious.
The guy or gal must have been a Nobel Prize winner, an astronaut, or won multiple gold medals at the Olympics or something.
